Nice location

Posted Jul 24, 2015
We stayed here for a week. Other than the brand new lobby area, this hotel is old. However it is kept very clean. We had an issue with our air conditioner not working and called the desk twice about it, and they would send someone up to jiggle some wires and point out there was cool air coming out of the vent, although noticeable not steadily. We kept it on max 24/7 and still were not getting a cold room, forcing us to sleep on top of the bed at night. The staff were awesome and very friendly, and I can not say enough about how polite and kind they were. The pool and lobby bar are nice, however were not really utilized by anyone at the hotel and were usually desolate, which was too bad. Although they list a restaurant in the hotel, there is not one there, but are many within a few blocks of the hotel. This hotel is in a great location - you have two pharmacies across the street, the beach a block away, and many restaurants, casinos, bars and shops in easy walking distance. Our visit was in July, and the night life was not much in Condado. If your looking for a good nightlife you need to cab it to Old San Juan. There are a lot of hotels in the area, some look very run down and some brand new, but for a cheap to medium ranged hotel, this one worked out fine and would consider staying again.

Clean and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel a night before our cruise. We reserved two rooms for a group of eight. The hotel was clean and comfortable and close to a lot of restaurants. Two different drug stores right across the street to pick up any items you might have forgot. The price, location and accommodations were just right. The only feedback I have is that the breakfast scene was a little chaotic. We will stay again if we are in the area.

My overall experience of this hotel was pleasing.

Pros: I liked the lobby area. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. I slept well.
The hotel needs interior work where they may have renovated the work was not detailed. You can see bumps and places where the plaster work was done poorly.

The suite has a nice partial view of the beach.

Free bicycle rental at the reception. Beach towels given. Breakfast is good when you go early. Suite was bigger than expected. Needs a jacuzzi some where though. Has a medium size pool and a kids small pool open 24 hrs.

Close to everything, but

Pros: The location
Cons: when customers are checking in they should be informed of when housekeeping starts and the parking situation explained thouroughly.
Location: excellent location to the beach, tons of restaurants within walking distance.
we arrived at 3:15 and the front desk was experiencing computer issues which resulted in a long waiting line of customers. They did offer an upgrade for the delay, but the room was oddly shaped and it was facing the front of the hotel and the slider doors weren't able to close properly, we regretted this later that night..very very loud street sounds. we tried the buffet included in the price and the food was ok, but very basic...no eggs other than hard boiled. I only saw one staff member working hard trying to keep everything stocked and the ravenous families fed. This is a great located hotel and I think this is more of a family style hotel and not necessarily a couples place.

Room change

Posted Jul 14, 2015
When I got their they told me that my room had been to a king size bed suite with s balcony instead of our double queen bed room because they had a room mix up and they gave us a air matteress to accommodated us with a air mattress but the good part about it is they gave us our room at a discounted rate where we save $150 and they gave us free rum drinks for there mistake it turn out good

Pros: Location and very clean
Cons: The AIRCONDITION
Location: Good location to restaurants , shopping , and the beach
Very clean, enjoyed the safe in the room, the fridge, the microwave and a good breakfast. The AIR CONDITIONING was either too cold or to hot. There was no middle ground. The staff were very pleasent and knowledgable
