Small hotel, clean, nice neighborhood. It's a boulevard of restaurants and stores. Only thing 3 flight of stairs...not easy when you have luggage or shopping bags.

Location and Staff is the best of this hotel!Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: - Air Conditioner - Location - Staff (with one exception)
Cons: ROOMS! Elevator
Pros: - Location (near everything: beaches, bars, disco, restaurants, etc) - Staff (very friendly and helpful) - Price - WiFi (although you must check-in using your Facebook account in order to use free wifi) - Air Conditioner (super cold) Cons: - Small and old room (small bathroom and everything was outdate there) - One old man in the front desk was not friendly neither a little bit! - No elevator! (you have to take your luggage by your own and using stair no matter what floor was your room)!!!

DisappointingPosted Jul 24, 2015
When I booked the hotel, I knew not to expect a lavish setting for the price I was given. The hotel (Inn) in a very busy part of San Juan, (nice area) but not much for parking. If you have a car you would have to park in a parking garage which is where my room was facing (this was my view). I asked to borrow an Iron; the first one had gunk on it and burned my white pants the other one didn't work. Continental breakfast was composed of stale 3 inch pastries, white, bread, boxes of cereal, coffee, tea and carton bought orange juice, and if you didn't sneak in before eight which is when breakfast was supposedly available by nine am there would be nothing left. Lastly, my room was on the third floor and my 60 year old self had to carry my bag up the stairs and this is what i had to go up and down each time I left my room. The positives; The room and bathroom were clean, expect for doors banging while closing it was pretty quiet. Fifty steps to the beach (i enjoyed that the most); Cant complain much for the price. At least it had airconditioning and running hot water.

Quaint hotel.Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: The communal breakfast area was a nice way to meet other travelers, kind of felt like a hostel, with its bare bones decor and all.
Cons: The decor was very minimal and low budget, and the rooms were small but comfortable.
Location: The location is great, short walk to the beach, and lots of dining options. Its also right on the bus line to Old San Jaun.
We enjoyed our stay and met some other nice travelers on vacation. Spent lots of time on the beach and going to visit historic sites in Old San Juan. I also gambled at the neighboring Mariot's casino.

Pros: The back patio was beautiful for morning coffee and fresh air.
Location: Coffee and restaurants are steps away from your hotel which is a big plus for convenience.
I wanted something close to the beach and restaurants so I found this boutique hotel. The shower head did not work (was leaking and was more of a drizzle of water) and the knobs in the shower were grimy. I barely wanted to touch them. The staff was ok, but not very friendly. I put a "do not disturb" placard on the door but the cleaning lady still cleaned my room while I was out (I'm a rather private person). Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent value; small but cleanPosted Jun 29, 2015
I very pleased with this hotel. It's in a great location--just a minute or two walk from the beach with plenty of excellent restaurants close by. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpe me out with whatever I needed. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Pros: Great staff, very helpful. Lovely common areas. Rooms clean, air conditioned and nice clean bed linens. Good value for the buck.
Cons: The bathrooms, kitchen and rooms could stand upgrades and renovations. But who stays in their room while in San Juan?
Location: Beach and casinos are practically at your doorstep and cabs are readily available. Old San Juan is remarkable.
Wonderful accomodating staff and great location. Keep in mind, the hotel offers only the basics.

Absolutely loved it... Puerto Rico is beautiful. Hotel is very comfy & just big enough. Right in the middle of everything.
