decent

Pros: location
Cons: price, showers/bath
Location: there some bigger hotels with casinos, a bunch of pubs, nice restaurants and parks in front of the beach
hotel was OK but it had no close parking, instead you have to park two blocks down on a private parking, and there was no transportation. it was within walking distance of very good places. the service was OK and the little breakfast acceptable. But over all I expected more for the price.

Pros: Location and price
Cons: It look old
Old hotel, but nice to stay in San Juan. I found a good price in Expedia and in San Juan. No elevator and good location, close to Wallgreens and Starbucks

Not all it seemed to be

Been to alot of hotels but this one was by far the worst . I asked for parking at the front desk before check-in and the guy didnt even make eye contact and ingored me. Another staff ended up answering my question . No parking none. As we checked in and went to our room the shower was unclean that we had to take a shower with our sandels on. Then asked for a crib (that said online was included) gaves us a playpen. Asked for comforters for the "crib" to make out daughter comfortable to be told that there are no comforters . We were told that there was free breakfast so we were excited walked into a kitchen with dirty dishes piled in the sink. ( not to mention the drink men fighting and our floor till 5 am. ) no hot breakfast as thought , just cereal millk, coffee, bread, and a few pastrys. Not to mention a 15 minute walk to a sister hotel to then walk and find out the pool was nasty and unusable . First and last time in the hotel.

PR trip with a Chica of mine.

Pros: The comfortable / homely feeling. With access to the kitchen / fridge / freezer. The lobby area where u can use your wifi. And lovely staff.
Cons: The rooms! Granted, I know they are small. However, the leaks should be fixed. That makes or a very uncomforable stay.
Location: THE BEACH!! Literally NOT even 5 minutes away. Also, lots of restaurants on that strip. Along with casino & entertainment @ the Marriott next door!
I've stayted here before. Hotel staff is lovely & the hotel has a nice 'homely' / comfortable vibe. However, there are absolutley NO frills here. Rooms are just 'OK'. The rm I had this time had water leaking from bthroom, into the bed area, but we just put a towel there & rolled with it. Bathrooms are SUPER tiny. Also, no elevators. Again, all this said, I've stayed at the hotel at least 3 times. Pretty reasonable prices and great location. Next trip, I will stay at another hotel. Just want have a more upscale stay. :)

The hotel is one block from the beach and within walking distance to several restaurants/shops. There is a bus stop to take you to Old San Juan, or the front desk can assist you with a tour. While there, I visited Old San Juan, Bacardi, El Yunque, and Bioluminescent bay. All worthwhile. Breakfast was kept to a minimum; wi-fi available in the lobby or breakfast area.

Small not fancy hotel with an outdoor patio!

Posted May 23, 2014
It is close to the beach, and to numerous restaurants. I never called to hotel to confirm, but I booked it through expedia and did not have any problems with checking in. Nice location, close to everything. Five minute walk to the beach, where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas if you have to. Close to the bus stop that for $0.75 takes you to Old San Juan! We didn't need fancy room or breakfast (coffee is great, but the rest - cereal, pastry and bread for toasts that is about it), so overall we enjoyed our stay!
