“I won't go back..”

We stayed a total of 3 nights ( we extended one more night) and had "NO" hot water all the time we were there. Three days and nights of cold water showers wasn't fun. We would NOT stay there or recommend anyone staying there.

Need replace the air conditioning room, very strong the sound.

It has problem with hot water, the bed is not really comfortable and the TV is small and old.

It was a decent place to stay for the price we paid. There was hardly anyone at the front desk ever! So hopefully there is no need to contact someone at the front desk. The room was clean and good AC. The location is the best. 2 blocks away from the beach (they provide beach towels), a block away from the bus stop that takes you to San Juan for only seventy-five cents and is less than 15 minutes away on bus. There are a variety of restaurants to chose from. And we took a tour to El Yunque leaving from the Mariott which was across the street.

“Inexpensive, GREAT location!”

Casa de caribe is not the marriot. The ice cooler is taped together, but works great! , and the continental breakfast is cheap. But the rooms are Huge! And The location is Awesome. Its Tucked away in some trees just off of Ashford street, The main road in san juan. We were really just looking for a "home base" while on vacation. a nice big CLEAN bed, AC, and low rates. Casa de caribe was perfect. Our room was tidy every morning and the staff are very friendly. There are only about a dozen rooms so privacy was no problem. Cable worked well and the beach is about ten minutes away if your walking. Im telling all of my friends and family to stay and Support local Puerte rico!!!!

“Nice but expected more”

Breakfast is cartons of small cereal, bread, butter and fake jelly with really tacky pre made doughnuts and muffins - not one piece of fruit or a yoghurt in sight. No water pressure in the shower - at all !! staff friendly place clean

“Close enough to the Marriot”

Casa Del Caribe is a nice small boutique hotel where there are about 12 rooms only. You can relax and unwind without anyone bothering you, and hear the Coqui sounds all night. They serve a continental breakfast which is fine toast, donuts, cereal, coffee, tea & water. Since this hotel/Inn is one block of the main strip it's considerable cheaper atleast by 50-100 dollars per night, depending on the season. Condado has a great shore line of beaches and if you stay at Casa del Caribe you are less than 5 minutes away, there are 3.00 rental of chairs on the beach, 10.00 day boogie board rental . There are more than enough restaurants and one deli on the end of the strip across the park that has good food 24/7. The room was clean and affordable!

“Comfortable, convenient but far from luxurious”

With a coat of paint, replacement of rugs and some work on bathrooma this hotel would be worth twice the price

“The worst experience I' ve ever have in a hotel.”

The room was filthy. The AC didn't work properly. There was not hot water in the shower. You could see cockroachs in the room. One of the walls in the room was broken. The conditions were so bad that I had ti move to another hotel paying out of my pocket. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, even if you're traveling with a tight budget.
