Pros: Not much
Location: Great location
We paid for a 2 bedroom and when we got there the room they gave us by the pool smelled of mold, appliances were rusted and the furniture looked like something you would see in a $39.00 per night hotel. I went to the front desk and waited 30 minutes for a manager who then came to the room to verify the smell. At this point we were told they were sorry and offered a 1 bedroom as that is all they had. We were told they could not discount the rate as we paid thru expedia. The one bedroom was much better (not worth the $260 per night I paid or the $210 it should have cost). The staff seemed upset even though the manager look at the room and agreed that my complaint was valid. After our stay was completed I again asked for a reduction in price and was told I was given $100.00 credit but when I checked with my credit card the only thing showing were 2 charges pending. I will check again and see if it was taken care of. I will not stay there again. Recap- rooms not so good, staff had bad attitudes, pool to small for the amount of people and over priced.

Pros: The main lobby. It was the only area you could get WIFI and was very clean.
Cons: The facilities really need to be updated. The rooms should be cleaned instead of just making beds and changing towels.
Location: Theres a casino, beach and golf near by.
Rooms are very dated and the appliances were rusted. There was mold on the shower curtain.They only come on Wednesdays and Saturdays to clean and they don't actually clean. They only replace the towels and make the beds.They also advertise free WIFI but fail to clarify that you must walk to the main lobby to get it. The only reason we stayed here is because we have family near by in Yabucoa. We also needed a kitchen to do some cooking for family gatherings. The only positive thing for us was its location. We will spend the extra money next year and stay at the Conquistador. That is more like resort vacationing. Hope this helps anyone contemplating a visit here.

When we arrived in this resort, it looked nice on the outside, but as we ventured in to our actual resort area we were disappointed .. The resort has many hotels club cala is one of the lesser of all the hotels.. So we checked in to our room and the place appeared to be very outdated and had some funky odors and just felt cold (not temperature), the floor resembles something you would find in a bathroom at a waterpark., the kitchen was tiny, the stove and refrigerator were the type you would see in an old motel ( very small) , the beds were okay, TVs were small and only in master and living room, not in the other bedroom. We did complain and we moved to their best room, which was newer looking and was a bit better..but we were far from happy.. The entire resort was full of Americans and felt very safe and was fun commuting on our rented golf cart from resort to resort to find pools better than ours- so it wasn't a total loss, we did have some fun.. We rented it for 7 days but left after 5 days to go stay at the El conquistador resort which was amazing! And we plan on returning to for easter break..be sure to visit the el yunke rainforest and old San Juan. Both fun spots.

Hotel facilities, room cleanliness, and room comfort were the strengths of this facility. The staff was very helpful during our stay, but not at the onset. We arrived at 6:30pm and were not given our card keys until 7:30. We were told initially that it would take 10 mins, but we found out after a staff change that someone was still in our room, well after the check-out time. We waited in the lobby the entire time after a 3 1/2 hour flight and maneuvering through traffic. Needless to say, we were very tired. Check-in time is 4:00pm.

The quality of service from the first moment was terrible, they not demostrated interest for us. The villas are not in good conditions for vacationers.
