No lounge chairs available by the pool even earlyPosted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Great location
Cons: Clean better
Room was old and not very clean. Pool was dirty and you can never get lounge chairs by the pool no matter how early you show up. Food and drinks very expensive.

Great locationPosted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Th location was key and the convience of the beach and pool next to each other, I could relax at the beach knowing my kids were a few steps away.
Cons: breakfast should be included in the resort fee, the buffet breakfast was too expensive and did not include tradional puerto rican food, that disappoin
Location: The Rain Forest was nice we booked a tour, EL mUrao and Pinotes, a strip were the local merchants sell food, drinks and souvenirs was really nice.
the hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, it is in a great location because the beach and pool are right next to each other. My kids enjoyed the water sports like jet sking and the bananna boat, I enjoyed the beach , got a nice massage there , the parties in the lobby and the pool parties. The food and drinks were a little expensive so we found a couple of outside restaurant to eat at like Edith's Cafe, the food was good all the time for breakfast lunch and dinner and it wasn't expensive. Look forward to going back. The staff were professional and very friendly.

On the beach & close to everythingPosted Jul 28, 2015
Loved the fact that the hotel was on the beach & walking distance or a cab ride away from restaurants & old San Juan!

ok hotelPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: the location was good, on the beach in Isla Verde
Cons: rooms were not very clean, bathroom was moldy. also not enough room to put your belongings in. loud music poolside to a drunk crowd on weekends
Location: plenty of places to eat and centrally located for ease of going to the airport and old san juan
went there for a long vacation, spent most off premises traveling around the island. the rooftop barbecue restaurant was not that good. food was ok, but the service was terrible...also, had people running through the hallways at late hours making alot of noise. had to call the front desk a few times

Great VacationPosted Jul 25, 2015
Our family of 4 stayed for 6 days,5 nights. The hotel staff was wonderful, pools and beach were clean and well maintained. The staff all consistently made an effort to make sure we were happy. We didn't eat at any of the hotel resturants we wanted to eat as much native food as possible. We did frequent Starbucks in the hotel regularly. The parts of the hotel we went had not been upgraded in a while but they were kept clean, looked and worked great.

Wife and I and two young kids, 6 and 3. Needed an easy, but cultural vacation. El San Juan provided the ease with great service, beach access, pools, and close to old San Juan for some culture, We will be back for sure!!!!

Nice hotel. Great amenitiesPosted Jul 22, 2015
My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. We enjoyed the poolside cabanas, the proximity to the ocean and the casino. We also felt everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were initially given a room right over the nightclub...it was extremely loud. We asked for another room and were given a complimentary upgrade to one pf the Villas away from main tower. Couldnt have been happier with new room. The only negative was the pricing of their inhouse restaurants. We did eat at a couple and food wasnt as good as prices we paid. Other than that, we had a great time.

Room/pools/beach – excellent. Food – expensive. Walk to restaurants/shops. Taxis – $25 & up per ride. Staff– Nice but always busy.
