Nice place to stay before heading to the islands

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: The room was huge. The staff were professional and helpful. There are 2 pools which were very well maintained. The 2 onsite restaurants were fabulous.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: The ferries to the outer islands are about 3 blocks away, but as the surrounding area is a bit run down, I would not suggest walking there at night.
Stayed here for 2 nights after a Caribbean cruise. Stayed in a 2 queen bed family room with another couple. The room was huge, and quite comfortable. The hotel itself is very nice, but the neighbourhood it is in is a bit run down. The hotel is built on a hill, so that might be an issue for some people with mobility problems, but we are in our 60's, and it was not an issue. The 2 onsite restaurants are reasonably priced and serve great food, especially the Blue Iguana. The hotel itself is a bit hard to find, so a GPS is helpful if you have one.

Nice hotel that close to most of the excursions

Posted Jan 24, 2015
I'm we chose this hotel over the Sheraton in old San Juan. This hotel was the perfect distance for all of the excursions that we went on and was close to the beach. Not to mention, the hotel will book and provide a complimentary shuttle to most the tours and excursions in Puerto Rico. The breakfast was also very good. We will definitely be back.

Good choice for the area

Posted Jan 24, 2015
We were there mainly to sleep, so we did not use pool area. Room was comfortable, beds are pretty soft though. The only thing I thought needed improvement was the restaurant..wait staff were great but the food could have been better.

Ok hotel, close to ferry

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Nice hotel, excellent stuff. They did everything we asked for. I didnt like that there is no carpet in the room, and the floor they didnt swipe ( just used the broom to get rid of the sand from the beach). The floor is cold and really not pleasant to walk on title. We had standart room and there wasnt even hair dryer((( which is disaster for every woman. But we had an iron... For some reason. No breakfast included, but very close to ferry which can take you to beautiful Culebra Island.

Tolle Poolanlage, schönes Gelände, Zimmer okay

Posted Jan 23, 2015

Great Hotel!!

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Close to the bioluminescent bay and the staff was super nice. Rooms were very clean and beautiful. Very up to date.
Cons: The huge incline by the front would be nicer if it was leveled off....or an elevator. just saying.
Location: Bioluminescent bay and the shopping centers are great! Most people will negotiate if you give them the respect they're looking for.
Great staff, amazing food, and overall fantastic experience!! We will def be back next year when we book our trip to Puerto Rico again! :) Close to the bioluminescent bay! Literally within 10 min from there. Def recommend to go there if you want to stay away from the general population and see the country for what it is. :)

Nice view

Posted Jan 14, 2015
The view was fantastic. We enjoyed hotel's 3 restaurants, 2 pools, gym, and mini golf a lot. Actually more than our rooms. The rooms were a little bit out of date.

Good for the price. If you want a bigger room, pay more for a good hotel.

Spacious rooms, substandard service & cleanliness

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Breakfast selection
Cons: Hygiene, room condition & service
Location: Good location, lots of beach activities near by
We stayed for 2 nights at the Fajardo Inn. The hotel rambles on and on so getting to your room takes some effort. The rooms are large but in poor condition. The restaurants are good. House keeping needs a lot of improvement.
