Great place to stay & the view are so beautiful. Everyone treated me so nice and peacefully. El Faro it's quiet, perfect to shut out, moderate $ rooms & also near at magical beaches to surf... ;-) To me, I recommend.

Horrible experiencePosted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
When we arrived the receptionist had no idea how to work their computer system, however we maintained our patience since she informed us that it was her first day there but it was frustrating to learn that the administrator would leave her alone without the proper training. At check out time they tried to double charge because of their system malfunction which was also frustrating since it wasn't our fault they were having technical problems and our payment didn't reflect on their end. Most of all the time lost trying resolve the situation is a shame due to the fact that we were on vacation and had little time to account for.

It is a nice place if you just want to spend the night and sleep in Aguadilla, so you can visit the surrounding areas (which is what we did). If your intentions are to stay and enjoy the hotel, this is not the place. Rooms were clean and staff were fairly nice (just the necessary amount of cordiality; didn't made an extra effort in service). But the place is very noisy, people always talking and shouting throughout the hotel (pool, pathways, corridors, in front of their rooms, etc.). There were no towels in our room; they gave them to us the next day. Anyway, will we stay there again? Probably, if we are in the area and need a place to sleep... it is affordable.

The only problem I had at the hotel was that they never had enough towels.
