They gave us a lot of help, such as the direction of the local resorts, restaurants, etc. Those infos are really really helpful.

“Great staff”

We were two couples traveling to meet up in Old San Juan. Hotel staff was exceptional in attending to our needs and interests. They gave us additional information on the free trolley, on great places to eat, on how to get to some beaches by bus. The rooms were not fancy but were clean and pleasant, giving the impression of having been renovated fairly recently (i.e., bathroom tile was new, furniture was in good condition). Refrigerator was handy. Only one safe available for one guest at a time, and we were able to use it. The location was just right for us, within walking distance of many things we wanted to see. We were glad we requested rooms with a window and in the back of the hotel since many rooms appear not to have windows and we had the impression the front of the hotel might have had street noise at night.

“Can't wait to go back”

Hotel is in the heart of Old San Juan. They were in the process of renovation. All the floors needed a key to enter, even from the street. The manager on duty were very pleasant and helpful with directions and points of interest. We were there for 1 night , sailing the next day

“Great experience in Old San Juan”

A great experience! We only stayed one night (the night before our cruise departure) but would definitely stay again. Our room was very clean, quiet and the air conditioner worked very well :) The front desk staff were awesome, very helpful with must see spots and incredible food suggestions. We had to check out at 11:00am the next morning but were not able to get on the boat so the staff was gracious enough to lock up our luggage in a storage room which allowed us to see more of the beautiful city of Old San Juan. I would definitely recommend staying at SJ Suites Hotel.

“Ramon is the best Manager at SJ Suites Hotel”

The staff was superb. I really liked Ramon, he helped me with maps, email and etc. The hotel staff was so friendly. I would definitely stay there again. I liked the security there meaning you need a key to get into the lobby or be buzzed in. There is a camera right out front so the desk clerks can see who is at the door. I can't say enough about the staff there......Ramon needs to be promoted and also get a raise. I have no objections to staying there at all. Don't worry about the breakfast there are many restaurants near by and a Supermax right around the corner so you can get some food and it is all good.

“" CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK " EVERYTHING IN WALKING DISTANCE”

THIS IS OUR SECOND VISIT TO S.J. SUITES. CLOSE TO TWO ESTABLISHEMENTS THAT WERE ON THE TRAVEL CHANNEL. WITHIN A FIVE MINUETE WALK IS RAICES WHERE ADAM RICHMOND ATE THE CHULETTA KAN, KAN. WE VISITED RAICES ON THIS VISIT AND THE STAFF AND FOOD IS FABULOUS. I CHOSE THE CHULETTA KAN, KAN; IT'S TO DIE FOR. IT'S A GIANT PORK CHOP THAT IS COOKED TO PERFECTION AND THEIR SANGRIA IS EXCELLENT. WE PUT OUR NAME IN AND HAD A 45 MINUETE WAIT, WELL WORTH IT. THE HOTEL IS AROUND THE CORNER FROM THE LABOMBERERA THE BAKERY, AWESOME 2 MINUETE WALK FROM THE HOTEL. THE STAFF MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME AND WILL TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING FOR YOU. IT'S A QUIET HOTEL. WHEN WE ARE READY TO GO TO CRUISE SHIP TERMINAL THEY HAVE THE TAXI THERE IN A COUPLE OF MIN. S.J. SUITES IS ABOUT TEN MIN. TO PRINCESS PAN AMERICAN PIER AND TO ROYAL CARIBBEAN ( ADVENTURE OF THE SEAS ) TERMINAL. THEY ARE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER. YOU ARE WALKING DISTANCE TO CARNIVAL VICTORY TERMINAL. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE LOCATION; WE WALK ALL OVER OLD SAN JUAN. THERE IS A SUPER MAX GROCERY STORE JUST AROUND THE CORNER CHEAP PRICES FOR BEER, WIN ETC. COKE IS A 1.04 PER BOTTLE AND PEPSI IS 99 CENTS. WE BRING A FEW BOTTLES ON THE SHIP. ON WEEKENDS THERE IS A LOT GOING ON IN OLD SAN JUAN, JUST ACROSS FROM THE SUPER MAX IS A SQUARE WHERE WE FOUND A GROUP OF 12 ON STAGE PLAYING MUSIC AND DANCING IT WAS AWESOME. S.J. SUITES IS ABOUT A 15 MIN. RIDE FROM AIRPORT.

“Great hotel”

The SJ Suites was great - perfect location downtown, clean, comfortable, safe, quiet. It was kind of minimal - it's not 4 stars, but who needs to stay inside when there's so much to do when you're in the heart of old town! The bathroom was very clean, had a hairdryer, the beds were a little hard, but we slept great. The window didn't have a great view, but again, why stay inside! We didn't try the breakfast, we ate at a little place down the road. We'd stay here again without a thought.
