Good basic hotel.Posted Jun 29, 2014
We had a pleasing stay at the hotel. Our room was quite large and had a big balcony which we liked. The facilities and breakfast were basic but perfectly adequate for a budget traveller. The location may not be for everybody - about 2 km from Old San Juan centre and not very near a beach. There is however a reasonable bus service to the centre.

nice hotel for a budgetPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: the rooms and the staf
Cons: it needs a parking facility
it was a nice place the staff was a peach , the rm's where very nice and clean , but the one thing I cant deal with was that the place has no parking, this is a big let down and a drag, you can park on the next hotel for a fee of 13.00 per day ok for one or 2 days but not for a week.

Great location!Posted May 19, 2014
I stayed here for 4 nights and you get what you pay for. The room was small and I had no view ( the view was to the garage) there was construction going on so that was loud. The bed wasn't to confortable but the room was clean and the location made easy for us to park the car ( street parking available) and head to Old San Juan. Overall I would stay here again since I just needed somewhere to seep. The plus is that they provide a mini fridge and their staff was excellent!

Hotel was very clean and close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect for a night(s) stay before or after a cruise.

Everything is brokenPosted May 14, 2014
We had 3 hotel rooms for two nights. They look nice when you just walk in, but... Our room, which was facing the street was very noisy, especially late evening time. It's strange because windows looks brand new and isolated. A/C was ok, but loud. TV had very noisy picture, but it didn't stopped our 7 years old to watch it. Bed was comfy and relatively clean, but pillows was so flat you need 3 of them for each. Best thing comes from newly renovated bathroom where bathtub was replaced by shower of the same size. I don't know who did pluming there, but OMG hotel should get their money back. Any bathroom piece you use, specially shower, water would be on the floor. Funny part was also that electrical cord from blow-drier, which is mounted to the wall, is not long enough to reach power plug. What else?? Oh yes! continental breakfast... don't waste your time unless you ok with toast and cellophane wrapped donut, which is usually sell in vending machines. There are better places for less in San Juan.

Nice hotel but no sleepPosted May 7, 2014
First the positive. The hotel was adorable and the room was lovely. Clean, comfy, etc. However, it's on a busy street and the walls must be paper thin. I did not sleep a wink all night because the traffic and sirens and people outside were so loud. Also, double check on directions to get there. We were five minutes away, but it took us 2 hours to find. Plus, you have to park in a separate garage which is an extra 22 bucks per night. I felt scammed, and was a weary and sleep deprived mess.

Very unhappy with acommadation very poor. Very dirty.
SmallPosted May 5, 2014
Cons: Lots. Cleaning and repairs to broken and falling apart things.
Location: Local parks and beach nearby. Beach was also in need of cleaning.
We stayed at the hotel 1 night before our cruise. While the hotel provided us a place to stay I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The lobby was clean but the hall we were in was in need of cleaning. The room was mostly clean and the bed comfortable but were very small. The bathroom sink was right beside the bed and you could not walk past each other in the room without stepping aside for the other. There was also a hole in the bathroom ceiling and window frames. Location was fine but no local restaurants close by. Not the easiest to find either. The breakfast was limited also.
