Close to the beach. That's really the only thing good about this place. It was the cheapest place we could find. There was construction going on during our stay and the attached restaurant wasn't good.

Very close to beach and great restaurant, etc.

Pros: Small, clean, quiet and friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Better beds and bedding
Location: Great restaurant like Orozco's Puertorican food, also u can take a city bus #53 will take you to Old San Juan for 75 cents need direct change
Room small put clean, beds could be better, but we still got to sleep, quiet, clean, older building but remodeled recently. Very good price across from high end hotels, great price, we stayed for 4 nights, someone at desk 24/7. Great Location. For great Puertorican Food go to Orozco's which right down street. Beach area is good.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: close to the beach
Cons: more amenities
Location: good location, lots of restaurants and shopping just down the street
Sandy beach hotel is a great affordable hotel, we were in san juan one night and it was perfect. we arrived around 9pm, the staff was very helpful gave us our room quickly and even recomended a few restaurants for a late night bite. the hotel room 100 was clean, it had ac, clean bathroom and hot water. the beds were ok nothing too fancy but comfortable. its walking distance to the beach so that cool. there is no parking but i parked my car on the street on yellow and it was there in the morning they dont really inforce it but its up to you if you want to risk it. the hotel is located down a small dead end street if you walk at night it feels kind of unsafe because there is low lighting but there is police officers on the corners. over all great hotel, cheap and close to the beach

Missing Medication

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Government Bonded Staff
Location: Shopping, art, great food
The location was incredible! We loved it! The front desk staff was wonderful and so was the patio cafe team. The room was "adequate" as we were only staying two days before sailing off to the Caribbean. I was MORTIFIED when I discovered that my extremely important medication was missing!! We were over half way to St. Thomas VI when I realized all but one of these pills were gone. I visited the ship medical facility the next day and they were unable to help me. My vacation was compromised a great deal as a result of this incident and I am currently pursuing restitution.

Ok. hotel, great location.

Pros: Nice cafe on premises with good view.
Cons: Rooms are dingy and lacking refrigerator, and comfortable bedding.
Location: Excellent location near restaurants, shopping, and buses to Old San Juan.
Came from 8 days on Vieques. Only spent 2 nights at hotel to tour Old San Juan before leaving to go back to Phila. The hotel was adequate for our needs, and was in an excellent location.

The hotel is not from a big chain or luxurious. But it has a great price and an extraordinary location.

Close to the beach, minimal comfort.

Short twin beds, tiny bathroom and shower. Checkin/checkout was quick, hotel rooms are small and uncomfortable.

Sufficient for the price!!!!

Pros: NEXT TO THE BEACH!!! This hotel was close to restaurants, shops and multiple attractions!!! We even had a Walgreens and CVS in close proximity.
Cons: They're already working on it. This is an older structure. Keep up on the routine upgrades (the elevators, common areas and rooms). Best kept secret!!
Location: OLD SAN JUAN is a short bus, cab, or car ride away. There are numerous hotel/casinos nearby and great nightlife!!
Our overall experience was a positive one. From our arrival to departure everything was done to ensure our needs/requests were accommodated. The staff was informative and courteous.
