Just a few things:

If you have a reservation for king bed they most likely won't have one when you get there but will upgrade your room this happen both times I've been there. Also, ask prices of things before you ask for something this is true everywhere , like the Café a cup of coffee was 3 dollars so whenever you go buy anything ask what the cost. Other then that this is really nice hotel the beach areas and pools are really clean and nice overall was a great place to take a winter vacation.

Pros: The lagoon and pools.
Cons: The staff could have been a bit more friendly.
Location: Swimming is great and the lagoon is good for snorkeling anf kayaking. Old San Juan is charming and has wonderful shops.
This hotel is family friendly. The lagoon and pools are beautiful! Public transportation close by and a quick ride to Old San Juan. The food in all the resteraunts was quite good.

Threw away my stuff

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Nice hotel, great location- but the maids threw away $200 of my bathroom amenities I brought with me. Don't see how it was accidental when it was no where near the garbage, and the managers did not immediately reimburse me. Waiting on it.

Beautiful resort. Everything you need is there.

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. Amenities. Hammocks.
Location: Location is steps from the beautiful beach. Beautiful view of the beach, lush green grounds, tropical trees, hammocks. Just paradise.
It's a breath of fresh air. The resort is the place to be if you wanna get away from it all. Great selections of restaurants in and around the property. Very well kept, friendly staff. I'd come back again and I have recommended The Condado Plaza Hilton to my colleagues.

Puerto Rico Weekend Getaway

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Casino Eternal Bar in Lobby Eight Noodle Bar Oversized Tub in room Balcony in room Good location for other things to do around the area.
Cons: The service at the pool restaurant as well as the cafe was very poor. If you wanted anything you had to flag a waitress/waiter down.
Location: The area nearby is great. There are a lot of little shops and bars you can walk too.
I thought the hotel was very up to date as far as decor and vibe. The casino was a plus. Oversized Tub in room was a great perk. Balcony in room was also cool. Jr. Suite is a great size for a weekend getaway. I was upset that the door handle to our room was broken (almost hanging off) the entire duration of our stay. I tried calling several times to the front desk to speak to a manager but they were always "off duty" (We were given a small discount at checkout but I think a larger discount should have been made considering we had to almost kick the door open to get it open or shut.) The 2 restaurants (Cafe & Pool Restaurant) food was very bland. Basic things you can get anywhere. The 8 Noodle Bar by the Casino had very good food though.

Great winter get away

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Most everything!
Cons: Too minor to comment on.
Location: While there make a reservation down the street at the Ropa Vieja restaurant. Most excellent. Remember....make a reservation.
The Condado is a jewel. The building is older and exhibits a degree of wear. The staff, the amenities, the beach, and the choice of swimming pools make that a non-issue. We rented a car, but in hindsight that wasn't necessary. We walked everywhere and there was plenty of transportation available had we chosen not to do so. The small casino was a nice distraction when we had some rainy weather. Highly recommend this place!
