Nice hotel close to beach, bus, restaurants.Posted Mar 23, 2015
Wireless was useless. Had to use outside restaurants for wireless. Hard to deal with while at a conference. Also extremely overpriced.

Great hotel close to SJUPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: We saw 1 roach in the bathroom:(
We had a 1-night stay here after a week on Culebra. We wanted a hotel very close to SJU as we had a 5AM flight out the next day. We checked out of The Verdanza at about 3:40, only to get to the airport to find our flight cancelled. We went back to The Verdanza, and they simply checked us back into our room, and even gave us a late departure. Very friendly, helpful, excellent staff working there! Plus the pool was beautiful!

Very good valuePosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: The staff, of course, but also the location--5 minute walk to the beach--and the food at J.H. Yee's. It is VERY quiet.
Cons: The rooms could use a little work (i.e., replacing curtains, painting baseboards, replacing toilet mechanism so it won't run).
Location: Conveniently located near other fancier (more expensive) hotels that have great restaurants and casinos. Nearby beach is EXCELLENT. Walgreens close.
What made our visit to Puerto Rico enjoyable was the outstanding staff of the Verdanza Hotel. They are friendly, helpful, and very professional.

Great location close to the beachPosted Mar 10, 2015
Location: The beach is 2 blocks away and there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance.
I would definitely stay here again. Started with very friendly service from Olga at the front desk. Although we arrived early, she took good car of us and our bags until our room was ready. Only stayed two days so did not get a chance to take advantage of all that is offered. Was surprised to see 4 restaurants and cafe in one hotel. Pool area is very nice. Room clean and comfortable.

loved it herePosted Mar 9, 2015
Pretty much close to everything and we had a very clean room. Very noisy neighbors but everything else was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location to airport and beach!Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Great location, nice clean rooms. Friendly staff and good food choices
Location: Close to airport and beach
The hotel was very nice, but be warned that construction is going on next door and they started very early in the morning. That was no fault of the hotel, but something to keep in mind while booking. The hotel was quite, the pool, hot tub and kids water play area were really awesome. The restaurants are very good too. Location is a short walk to a beautiful beach and it's a close ride to the airport.

Great place to stay in San JuanPosted Mar 3, 2015
I was so pleased with the proximity of the hotel from the airport. Close to the beach and one of the main strips in San Juan. I plan on going back next year.

stayed 1 night while waiting to fly back to NyPosted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: the proximity to the airport
Cons: PUT DRAPES IN EVERY ROOM SO WE CAN SLEEP
Location: Close to old San juan and the port where the cruise ships come in
The room was ok. The room needs a bit of updating as does the entire hotel. I did not like the fact that they make guests pay to park their vehicles. The REALLY bad thing we experienced was arriving back to the hotel at 11 pm getting into bed and realizing there were no drapes to draw. So, the lights from the surrounding hotel lit up our room all night making it difficult to sleep. When I advised the clerk of the fact he said " hmmm, all rooms should have drapes. There was no offer of any discount or rebate. No big deal, but that would have been nice
