Nice hotel close to the beach.Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: The staff and location.
Cons: Update the ancient ac machines.
Location: 7 pesos to ride to town and search for great food that is made to order.
Was what we expected, the restaurant was just average and kinda pricey for what we had. But the staff were all very nice and helpful, For the price it is a great deal. Only bummer was that the ac in our room was noisy but it was not so bad that we were going to ask for another room.

Nice Hotel on the beachPosted Oct 17, 2013
Only stayed a couple of nights as we did a lot of travelling but enjoyed our stay. Right on a nice little beach and the view was spectacular. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. Rates were good considering we hadn't gone all inclusive. Would definitely recommend this hotel. A little far to go if you plan on walking everywhere but on the other hand quieter than other hotels I've stayed at.

We like it this hotel. The beach in front is beautiful, but not to easy to swim.

A magical wedding in paradisePosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: The view
My wife and I recently got married at this hotel. The hotel is situated on its own private beach with fantastic views of the ocean, downtown area and sunsets. The hotel staff were professional, extremely helpful and friendly. Our wedding was very well organised and massively surpassed our expectations. Our wedding was on the beach with great views and the reception in top floor suite which was well decorated and ideal for our number of guests. The food for our wedding was exceptional with all of our guests saving the highest praise for the chef. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well maintained. The hotel is located about 10mins drive from the closest part of downtown Puerto Vallarta and it is easy to get around in taxis to the nearby zoo or markets. We had 20 wedding guests stay with us at the hotel and all guests were extremely pleased with the whole experience and would recommend other people to stay at the hotel. Overall our stay was one we will remember forever and we are very grateful to the staff of the the hotel for making it a wonderful experience.

Friendly StaffPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Swim up pool bar
Cons: Many of the staff only spoke Spanish. Was sometimes challenging to ask things if you didn't speak Spanish. Some staff did have good English though.
Location: It's about 15-20 mins outside of the PV downtown area. Beautiful beach and pool area.
Staff are extremely eager to cater to all of your needs. They are extremely friendly!

A wonderful value ... for great accomodationsPosted Mar 12, 2013
Pros: views are wonderful...staff very friendly and accomodating ... food is yummy ... really good value for the $.
Cons: it's an older building with noisy a/c and old furniture ... especially on the patio
Location: wonderful! away from town and the rat race. the views are wonderful. the jungle is close and so is a private beach.
The a/c makes a lot of noise. But room is large and lovely and the view of the bay from the very large balcony is wonderful. The cleaning crew is terrific too!

Great hotel for couplesPosted Mar 1, 2013
Pros: Staff, location and restaurant
Location: South of downtown PV away from the tourists and quiet as a result
The people at the front desk were extremely accommodating in fulfilling our requests as was the rest of the staff! Great location away from the maddening crowd.

A More Quiet Stay With All the Action Close by.Posted Feb 4, 2013
Pros: The beach and swimming area.
Cons: Broken exercise equipment
Location: A quieter version of the build up Puerta Vallarta
It is a very nice hotel with wonderful people working there. In particular, I really enjoyed the staff that worked the pool and beach area. Our drinks never seemed to get empty and we needed nothing that they didn't provide. We very much enjoyed their restaurant that was adjacent to the check-in area. I believe it was called Fettuccine. On the negative side, one of the bikes in the exercise room and one of the treadmills were not working and neither was the waterfall. If you are looking for the hustle and downtown down Puerto Vallarta, this might not be the place for you. We liked that this hotel was a little more yet close to the action, but it was a $10 cab ride into town. Great View too!

Beach Beautiful, Hotel...Help!Posted Jan 14, 2013
Pros: The beach, ocean, and pool.
Cons: Very poor air quality and cleanliness of room.
The location of this hotel is beautiful. The beach is pristine, and color of the ocean during our stay was aqua/green and dark blue. The pool area is kept very clean, and the staff at poolside were courteous and attentive. The staff for the most part were very friendly, and accomodating. The food in the restaurant was fair, and staff again, gracious. Unfortunately, the hotel is in serious need of upgrading. Our room had a very musty/moldy odor, some of the odor from the mattresses, and some from the ventilation system. The glass of the patio balcony was very dirty, the majority of the surface was smudged and covered in children's handprints. The floors were grainy, and seemed unmopped. There was a moldy shower mat rolled up in the corner of the shower. I don't think I will return here again, which is unfortunate, as the outdoor areas were so pleasant and inviting.
