Cordial welcome

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Basic comfort, in a friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Maybe, the room can be aired out daily as the air-conditioning can make the room too cold or musty on very hot days.
Location: Lots of great restaurants, walk to the male con, and all the things PV is famous for.
Casa Dona Susanah was being refurbished and I was relocated to the Los Arcos suite across from it. he room was bright, clean, and and well-airconditioned for the hot weather outside. The staff was friendly and kind and offered immediate service if I needed anything. The cleaning service always made sure the bed had a hand-crafted artwork on it-a nice touch. After a few days' stay it felt like family. The spa services at the nearby Los Arcos hotel are also excellent.

Los Arcos -- a GROUP of Boutique hotels!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
What a joy it was to stay at Casa Doña Susana, only to learn that the beachfront family resort around the corner was included in our minimal price! Instantly we had access to all the comforts of an all-inclusive for less than $35 a night. A terrific experience if you're interested in a cheap alternative to an otherwise expensive Puerto Vallarta!

Nice Hotel close to the beach. Great pool

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Great Hotel with a nice pool on the roof. The only draw back was he small bathroom and that the room smelled of furniture polish or wax. Look forward to staying there again.

Decent hotel for the price

Decent hotel for the price, but not a relaxing place. Very busy hotel, mostly caters to Mexican demographic. Mostly kids though Casa Dona boasts it is kid free, you will have to go to Playa Los Arcos to get any food or drink or beach access. Playa Los Arcos is swimming with children. Do not go with the all inclusive route, the food was terrible, and the drinks were second rate. Staff was nice enough and the rooms were decent but over all I would not return.

Small hotel near beach in Old Town

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Location and price. Fabulous rooftop pool.
Cons: More windows that open. Some better oversight of noise from hotel guests at night.
Location: Near beach in Old Town. Some nice venues for live music at restaurants nearby. Good coffee place right next door.
A small budget hotel with access to two larger hotels on beach. The room was very small but acceptable. Nice location to the malecon and beach.

Nice Mexico hotel

Posted May 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We live in Mexico and wanted to try something other than the $100+ hotels. Our friends are always asking us where to stay in PV. It is a clean hotel, the staff was very helpful. I asked for several things while I was there and they were more than happy to help. It can get a bit loud with having a center court yard. We had some pretty drunk guys in at 5am than woke us up. Sound carries. But overall it was just fine. The air works like a champ, the bed was good and the room was clean. It was be nice to see it updated because the location is great.

Charming little place near the beach

Posted Apr 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Casa Dona Susana is a cute and quiet little place near the beach and the heart of the Romantic Zone. It shares amenities with Playa Los Arcos and Los Arcos Suites so you get to share the benefits of the larger places such as beach access, restaurant, Jacuzzi but at the same time it is so much quieter and the rooftop pool was our favorite! I will definitely return to this little gem.
