Luxury service and the best staff we've ever experienced at a luxury hotel. Would compare with the Four Seasons Resorts. If you want rest and relaxation in a quiet and beautiful environment, this is the place for you. The rooms and grounds are immaculate.

This hotel offers amazing service.

Wonderful staff and service. Ask for mexican food because there is not much on the menu- but they accomodated =) The bottom floor may not be the best- a bit smelly and bugs were creeping in. Next time I would get a top floor.

The PERFECT place for Adults Only!

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The hospitality, the spa, the food, and the beautiful lush gardens with peacocks roaming freely.
Cons: We can't think of anything.
Location: Convenient to Puerto Vallarta, the beach club, golf, and the marina where you meet to go on most activities through Vallarta Adventures.
Pampered and just felt like royalty. Beautiful place with beautiful and delicious food!!! It far exceeded our expectations and is now our best vacation ever. There was plenty to do if you wanted adventure or a beautiful pool and plenty of attention if you wanted to chill. We enjoyed both.

Nice boutique hotel, very laid back resort

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: No kids, great service, great food. Felt like our private hacienda at times.
Cons: Sometimes room service could be quicker and they got our order wrong twice. But still great meals.
Location: Location is only lacking part, though you can walk to the beach instead of the shuttle if you want. Good walk to the marina.
We had a great time here for our honeymoon. The hotel was very relaxing and hidden away it felt like. Nothing like tower resorts in Puerto Vallarta. Casa Velas is extremely well staffed. Only issues arose when a breakfast seminar was going on, and our room service took an hour, and sometimes it took a while at pool seats to be served. The beach club was amazing though and service was mostly spectacular. Only a few times I had to wait a few minutes before they noticed my glass was empty. Some of the best meals I have ever had were at the restaurants Velas resorts offer. The beach club was our favorite part, though the huge pool at Casa Velas was great and convenient as well. At time it felt like we were the only ones there.

Nice but not much to do.

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Grounds and rooms are very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We asked for wake up calls three times. Two out of the three never happened and the one that did call was 20minutes late.
Location: Location was very close to the airport. We used their car VIP service for a round trip for $40. You can easily take a cab for a fraction of the price.
The hotel was great but nobody was there. My Husband and I just got back and it felt like there were only a small hand-full of other couples. Since it was so slow, the staff was never at the bar when you needed a drink. Their other hotel (Velas Vallarta) was very nice with lots of people and great entertainment. Whatever you do, don't ask for a wake up call as it WON'T happen. We asked for three wake up calls and two of them never happened and the third was 20mins late.

Best place for relaxation

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Beautiful main pool with great Bar,Outstanding staff in all areas,Nice garden, delicious menus.
Cons: Breakfast menu at Emilliano could be better.Pool at beach club is very small.
Location: Close to Velas Vallarta resort which is bigger and busier with nice pool and crowded beach and three restaurants (part of all-inclusive deal).
Once we arrived we had warm welcome by their staff, quick check-in.Room was very clean, equipped and spacious but very hot at time of arrival. They should turn on AC before guest arrival.I and my wife had our first meal at Emilliano right after check-in.Great menu with variety of choices in a place with ultimate serenity. Breakfast menu is not as good as dinner/lunch menu.Main pool area is well maintained with nice bar and magnificent staff ready to serve you most delicious drink. We went to ocean club only once (they close at 6 PM)It has nice bar with good food (mostly Asian cuisine) but pool is ridiculously small ,we went to the ocean not the pool. I recommend you to try Velas Vallarta's pool and restaurants which is part of Velas Resorts.Overall,we had great time there but we were expecting to see young couples not +50s.

Heaven

Pros: Everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location: Close to the beach and close to downtown.
My husband and I LOVE this place. It was like a secluded hideaway. There were other people there but it's a smaller hotel so not too many people. The staff is great and the property is amazing. There were so many birds to watch as well as iguanas and other lizards. It's a tropical paradise. The room was super clean and comfortable. The beach is a short car ride away. Dinner on the beach with amazing sunsets. Room service is quick. Bar tender is awesome. My husband and I would ONLY stay here again. Our flight back was cancelled so we opted for a cheaper hotel for only 1 night and it just wasn't the same...
