The property was pretty, but the "private" beach club was not private at all. Only one restaurant on the property. Food was medeocre at best. Tips are supposed to be included, however, you have to she out every time you get food or drinks and there is an option for a tip. The beach club was closed some of the days and honestly, not worth the money AT ALL. we will not return. Waste of time and money. Limited menu and no amenities were offered, as what were offered on expedia. No one showed us around, we couldnt find the beach club. The couple days it was open, it was full. The propert is very misleading. False advertisement. Our spa credit did not accumulate and they literally had one menu to chose from, otherwise you had to ride by bus everywhere else. W ewere able to spend a total of maybe 4 hours on the back in a 5 day period.

Very relaxing, tranquil property and friendly service at the restaurants. Food was very high quality. Adults only property, but definitely not a resort for younger couples looking for a mix of liveliness to go with the quiet. It is definitely an older crowd and little to no action during the day - it was nice to be able to take advantage of the sister Velas Vallarta and Tau Beach Club for a bit more action.

We had a number of flashing lights in our room 309. Fire detector flashed all night above the bed and the connection to the internet lit up throughout the night. The room was out of date….sliding door hard to open , Outside hot tub was nasty. Stained and sliced in the cement. No way would we would use it. However we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were delightful.. entertainment was excellent ..

I have stayed at Casa Velas twice now and both time have been great. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The property is well maintained and has a nice citrus smell throughout. The food all though a bit limited is really good, I recommend this ceviche vallarta and the chilaquiles. The restaurant staff is amazing, shout out to Avalos for always taking care of me, also Oscar, Jesus and everyone there really. It’s very quite and peaceful if your coming to just relax.

Casa Velas is a very nice boutique resort closer to the airport and Marina. It's very quiet and safe, security at the gate checks the guests in and out. Room is spacious and well decorated. What makes this resort stand out is its superb service! Hats off to the entire staff at Casa Velas, from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and the servers at the restaurants and poolside. We were really pampered by the staff during our one week stay at Casa Velas. It's also nice to have options to dine and use the facilities at its sister resorts - the Tau Beach Club and Velas Vallarta, which is only a 3 min shuttle ride. Guests can dine at any restaurant in the three resorts. Food is acceptable for an all inclusive resort but we wish the quality is better for the price we paid. Breakfast at Emiliano is good, lunch and dinner at Tau Beach Club are better. Special thanks to Velas Vallarta front desk staff. I left my shirt in the ballroom where the Fiesta event was held. Not only the staff found my shirt, they also delivered it to Casa Velas. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay at Casa Velas. We were fully recharged at the end of our vacation.

This is a perfect resort for a couple or smaller group of friends looking to get away to a nice, quiet resort in Puerto Vallarta. Though there is only one main restaurant on the property, it is excellent. There was entertainment every night we were there (a week), but it didn't go on until late hours so not a party place...which was nice for us. The resort pool and vibe is first rate and we enjoyed ending our "beach days" there. Probably the most underrated part of the resort package is the access to the private Tau Beach Club which is included in the all inclusive package. It is a 3 minute shuttle ride and this was normally available almost instantly. We went to the Club everyday and the service, food and drinks were top rate...the team at Tau were excellent, service oriented and very friendly; it was energetic but not too busy at Tau and we were always able to get a cabana. We also had dinner there two nights (lobster both times), including our last night which was at a special sunset table which we really enjoyed. Will definitely return to Casa Velas.

The best part of the stay was the staff and the ambience of the resort! Super friendly attentive staff, luxurious accommodation and beautifully manicured grounds. My husband and I had such a wonderful trip at Casa Velas in April of 2023. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional! We’ve always stayed at Secrets Resorts, so this was our first experience trying another and it could not have been better. We miss our mornings with the incredible staff. They work so hard to make sure you enjoy every moment of your stay. Thank you to Avalos, Carlos, Fatima, Ulises, Miguel, Enrique, Ramon, Alfredo, Jesus, Ana and Sofia. Casa Velas absolutely exceeded our expectations. I booked this stay because my partner is a school teacher and could use a break from kids. The resort itself is small and all common areas of were never crowded. It was easy to eat at the restaurant daily and there were always comfortable pool cabanas available for use. Food was the highlight at this resort. It was absolutely incredible that I enjoyed every single meal at this resort. I read a lot of reviews here about "average" food at Casa Velas and at this point I would like to disagree with all of them. This is my third stay at an all inclusive resort (Cancun/Tulum). Ordinarily, you can expect to tamper expectations for meal quality as resorts prepare for quantity rather than quality. That is NOT the case at Casa Velas and the Tau Beach Club. I highly recommend the shrimp/skirt steak burrito at Tau Beach Club. Staff took the time to remember our names. There was always a shuttle available for the beach club. Pool/Beach cabanas are often an extra charge at some of the resorts in PV. Not only is this not the case at Casa Velas, but for us it was "take your pick! where would you like to lounge for the day?" The beach club itself was magnificent. Slow times often went too fast. Did I mention it wasn't crowded anywhere? My partner and I miss this place now that we're home. We'll likely return as we don't see how much better it can get than Casa Velas.

This property and the sister properties were all fantastic. The food, staff, grounds were all top notch. I will note that the demographic is a bit older than we expected ( 41 & 36y/o) but that didn’t hinder our trip whatsoever. You won’t be disappointed staying here at all

We loved our stay. Everything was perfect - the staff were always there to help, room service was great, the two restaurants were beautiful and the food was delicious, our room was private and had a beautiful outside tub surrounded by tropical flowers, the check in and out was flawless and fast and overall this is now our favourite resort in all of Mexico.

The grounds are beautiful. The beach club is the perfect place for a romantic sunset dinner. The pool was quiet and relaxing. All of the bartenders are great. All of the doormen were nice. The employees really seemed to care about your experience at the resort. The food was good, but lacked variety. The mini bar in the room was bleh. If you wanted something after 10pm you were out of luck. I would have liked to be able to pre-order breakfast in the room before hand. Several times when I called for room service there was no answer. The restaurant hours varied depending on who you asked or where you read it. Overall it was a nice trip and we're glad that we stayed there.

Nice people, beautiful setting, clean and very comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food and drinks are better than in other PV places we stayed. Note that this property isn’t directly on the beach, but a 10min walk or a quick ride on free shuttle.

We have just returned home from this hotel. It was overall a good experience and the property was quiet. You are able to go to the sister hotel to enjoy more food options and the beach. The only negative is that someone may go through your belongings and take extra tip for itself. The hotel personnel will take note of it but that is all they can do.

My mother passed, sibling had a mentl break-down so could make the first few days. Request a refund for the days sibling was unable to attend and hotel and Expedia refused to reimburse me. I did not request a full refund just 2 days for the one occupant. We took the Holiday to spread some of my Mothers ashes. It's terrible when big and small corporations fudge over people.

The resort was very peaceful and beautiful. Not very crowded and extremely relaxing. The restaurant was amazing and we loved the food and drinks. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Very easy to walk to the sister hotels where you have access to the beach and other pools. Again, can't say enough nice words about the staff here! Always helpful, always friendly and always trying to make sure you are having the best time. Our favorite staff members were Isaac and Erick at the Tau Beach Club, and Carlos, Armando, Daniel, and Nabila at Casa Velas. We loved staying here and had a great time!
