“Awesome resort for a relaxing vacation!”

Our stay at the Golden Crown Paradise Club was absoutely wonderful. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the view is perfect from every single balcony in the complex. I personally watched the night staff cleaning the pool area for hours ... sweeping the tile, wiping the tables and chairs, cleaning the pool, trimming the hedges and keeping everything in overall great shape. It was nice that the resort was adults only. There weren't any kids to deal with in the pool or the hot tub or the restaurants. If there is only one thing I wasn't overall impressed with, it was the food. The food at the restaurants was, in my opinion, just okay. It wasn't horrible, but nothing to rave about, either. For being all-inclusive, it was good enough. The BEST item on the room service menu is the french toast. If you order anything at all for breakfast, make sure it's the french toast!

“One of our best vacations!!!!!!!!”

We meet more people (friends now) than all the other places we have traveled!! The hotel was great! Layed back and so comfortable. The beach vendors will become your friends, even if you say no thank you. Food was good--loved the pork tacos at noon!! You can dress up or not--loved that!!!!! We will be back! You can walk down the beach for a long ways! The sunsets r out of this world!! Great pictures! This hotel is a very good value--the people make it!! Also, the taxis rides r crazy!! Great vacation!

The hotel provided all kinds of activities for us to enjoy. The hotel entertainment crew provided activities poolside as well as different types of dance shows at night. Since my husband and I hadn't been to Puerto Vallarta in a long time, we were not up to date on the best area restaurants and shopping available, but any hotel employee that we asked was more than happy to inform us of the best shopping and good restaurants. Also, the service at the pool snack bar and drinks bar was excellent. This whole experience at this hotel was very memorable and we are making plans to go back to this same hotel in the near future.

“Very nice for the price”

This was our second stay at the Golden Crown Paradise; our first was three years ago. We enjoyed both visits quite a bit. It's not a top-end, luxury hotel, but it's certainly worth the price you pay. It's a nice-looking property with a cozy feel and fabulous views from almost every room except the ground floor. Last time we had a pool-side room (could still see ocean), and this time we had an ocean-side room. ... We were underwhelmed by much of the food, but this is a minor quibble. It wasn't bad; it just wasn't anything special. The breakfast buffet at the upstairs restaurant was particularly good, as were the pork tacos at the snack bar by the pool. The first time we stayed here, we were fairly new to the all-inclusive concept, and we didn't tip for anything. This time we tipped pretty freely, but not every time. I don't know that it made any difference, and I mean that in a good way. We never felt like we were slighted in any way when we didn't tip. Even so, I say do it. The bartenders and servers and maids work hard and are friendly. ... The first time we stayed here, it was a daily scramble every day to find a chair by the pool or on the beach. This time it was pretty easy. Also, last time the age range was evenly spread out from about 21 to 71. Plenty of young people. This time it seemed like most people were 50 or older. (I'm 50.) The 20-somethings were greatly outnumbered. Nobody seemed out of place, though. Everybody was having a good time.

Golden Crown Paradise Resort All-Inclusive, adults only is close to many attractions, the marina, the malecon boardwalk area, shopping malls and great views from your room. Had a king size ocean front room with balcony. Clean rooms, great service, overall very nice hotel to come to. Must eat at Salvadors and Paradise speciality restaurants and try the sexy coffee. Maid and room service were great. Only down side were the beach vendors, the waters and it rained every day ( that part, the hotel couldn't do anything about). Over-all I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't mind returning.

“Idaho is looking forward to going back”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crown Royal we were there Oct 30th to Nov 5th 2010. It was clean, room service was prompt and the service was exceptional. Drinks were nice and strong and plenty of food all the time. Once you put a foot onto the beach you were over whelmed with the vendors trying to sell you stuff. The Pirate Cruise Ship was awesome!! I recommend it to everyone. The tequila factory tour was great too, 8 hrs. But watch your dollars at the restaurant you stop at for lunch. All in all we loved our trip and are planning on staying at this resort again. We made alot of new friends from all over the US there and even some from close to where we live., We really enjoyed the adult only atmosphere. We rented a yacht for 2 days of fishing and had a blast, everything furnished but our lunch. The deck hands did everything. Captain Pete and his crew were great. We caught Dorado and Tuna and saw so much Ocean life. Dolphins right next to the boat, turtles and stingrays. Have fun and enjoy. We did!!!!!!!

Our stay at the Golden Crown Paradise was excellent as always. The value is fantastic and the staff treat you as if you are a VIP at all times. Don't expect this to be a 5 star as it is not but it is a great place for people that like a excellent vacation at a value. O-yeah, 18 and over is a blessing!

“Excellent Value - Great Time!”

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Personnel were always courteous. Food was excellent, especially at the two special restaurants, which we visited most nights. Believe this trip was one of the best resorts we've visited. Didn't care for nitro, the night club. Too loud! Most shows were geared toward the kids from the adjoining family resort. Tips were given often, and seemed genuinely appreciated. It appears the help shares tips, so they all work hard to please. This resort is highly recommended, and for the money it is a steal! Golf at two beautiful courses at Vista Vallarta was only $56 per round (including cart) for guests of Golden Crown Paradise.

“Absolutely Perfect!”

Just got back from my first stay in Mexico and we chose the GCP. It was great. More then I expected for the price. Everyone was fantastic and worked very hard to please the guests. It was an all-inclusive trip so tips weren't going out very often from others but we tipped. Even when not tipped the staff worked very hard. Our room was perfect every morning and the staff was always ready to get a cab for you when going out. The food was very good at both the GCP and the CP. We will be staying here again the next time we go back down. It's not a 5 star resort but it's better then the 3 star that's given. Well, well worth the money.
