Great servicePosted Dec 18, 2013
Great trip however I got referred by expedia to gray line for transportation. Not only did they charge me $116 but I had to endure a sales pitch from these ppl for activities. Bad company. The hotel arraigned for transportation back to airport in brand new van for $30. That's outrageous. I will never book thru expedia any extras.

Nice all inclusive, great private beach.Posted Dec 16, 2013
Cons: A small amount of rode noise from the highway, but most resorts in PV have similar situation. Internet access is pay-as-you go rather than free
Great all-inclusive resort. 5$ cab ride to downtown yet you have a private beach. Overall good food and quality and availability of drinks was great. Great for families and couples. Rumor has it that Hyatt recently purchased - no telling what will change and when. Staff was awesome.

Great experience for first timersPosted Dec 11, 2013
Pros: Great service, "all-inclusive"
Cons: Our only real complaint was the service we received at one of the restaurants on site. We did not go back during our stay we were so disappointed.
Location: It was a bit out of town but the taxis were reasonable. Plenty of adventures/excursions offered. Lots of areas to get sun and relax on the beach
It was out first time to PV and our first time at this resort as well as our first time doing the "all inclusive". We had a fabulous experience at Dreams. The staff was super nice and helpful. Service was great at all of the eating opportunities, except at the Seaside Grill (terrible service for us!) The resort was in what felt like a bit of mild disrepair in some areas, cracked edges of the pool, etc. But our room, and all the shared areas were clean, amenities were great. The guy that helped us at the adventure desk was super helpful, and we booked two adventures through him...I would definitely recommend booking adventures through there. The beach out front was nice and clean. The welcome was awesome with champagne and a cool cloth. This was truly a great resort and would definitely go back if we go back to PV. We were not hammered about "timeshare" stuff (if they offer it, we don't even know! :-). The "pool party" on Friday at lunch was super fun. Taxis were very reasonable. Again, we would definitely recommend this resort.

Friendly staff, Beautiful HotelPosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: The friendly staff, nice restaurants, and private beach. I love the espresso bar for a quick latte in the morning.
Location: Use the boats right off shore at the beach for fishing, whale watching or snorkeling They are half the price of booking thru the hotel.
This was my fifth time in Puerto Vallarta. I always stay at the Dreams. I just can't find any hotel that's comparable. Beautiful location, private beach, and excellent restaurants with no waiting. The word is that this will be a Hyatt Hotel starting in April so hope everything stays as nice. One tip that the hotel won't tell you: If you want to go snorkeling, whale watching or fishing, use the boats that are in the water right off the beach. The price is half of what the hotel will charge you to book an excursion and it's so much better to just wade through the waves than drive all the way to the marina. Tony is the captain of the boat we always use. We have so much fun that we always go twice during our stay.

Beach is the best part of the Hotel.Posted Dec 8, 2013
Pros: The Beach is the best in Puerto Vallarta
Cons: Hard to say when most of the staff is going to loose their job and move one of the monster hotels owned by the the group
Location: Old Vallarta is 5-6 minutes away and makes is very easy to get into town. They now have a cabaret that was fun to see..
I have been to Dreams PV numerous times and it was very crowded. If you wanted a chair or a Palapa on the beach you had to get up at 6am and put your towel on the chair. The Hotel has been sold to Hyatt and it shows with some of the staff. The food being served in the restaurants were not hot, just warm. The buffet food was your best choice because they prepare hot foods. Most of the attendants were very friendly.

Beach beautyPosted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Located on a private beach with big crashing waves. They are part of a sea turtle release program and I was able to send a baby turtle into the sea.
Cons: All hotels especially AI must have free wi fi It is a must have Makes it hard to keep in touch
Location: 5 minutes to the town. Food at this resort was fantastic!!!
We find Dreams to be an excellent choice. Meals are an event, Tasty, hot and beautifully served.
