Completely different experience from other all inclusive hotels. Amazing food, excellent options.
Great staff, always willing to make your stay as confortable as possible.
Great option if traveling with kids.
No need to get out from the resort at all!

Had a nice view of the grounds from the 7th floor, overlooking the pools, hot tubs and the sunset views of Bandaras Bay. We had two couples massages at the beach - both were fantastic - if you do only one thing - do a couples massage at the beach - yumm! Had good food there too, the barbecue nights are nice and the Eggs North breakfast was my favorite. Get to the coffee shop early for the treats. Lots of Americans and Canadians to chat with and the staff helps you work on your Spanish..."la cuenta por favor". Watch closely for dolphins and breaching whales.

There were families, like mine, and single people and couples. Everyone was having a great time. Plenty of things to do. There was a group of people from the hotel in charge of activities. From beach volleyball, dance lessons, pool games, always something great to do. You never had to wait for drinks, they saw your hand empty and they filled it. Security was always present and helpful if you needed it. They had piñatas, soccer games, something every hour, ending with karaoke, dances, and clubs at night, all at the resort! They brought in vendors for you to buy things, great prices. No need to go anywhere. Food for everyone, all the time. They supply bottles of water. I can't think of anything bad to say, except,....don't to the city tour. I thought it would be good to go off the resort, but I regretted it the whole time. They take you to places the tour people arrange with their friends for you to buy things from. Everyone on the tour hoped to go to some shops, nooo, they took us to high end shops no one wanted to buy from and ended in a tequila "factory" which was someone's house, and forced us to eat there, because we were all starving. The food was awful and overpriced. But, we had no other choice, they wouldn't leave until we ate. The tour was suppose to be done by 2pm. We finally got back to the hotel at 6pm. No one was happy.

"Close to beach and walk to everything! Great staff"
Met my family there including small children. Very easy place to stay, kitchens were a plus, and rooms are spacious, lovely balconies to hang on. You can also use your hotel pass to go to the fancier beach side pool that had more shallow space for kids. Down size was slightly musty smell in rooms, but very clean and great service.

Stayed for the second time at this family-friendly resort. We had an excellent time, as before.
Rooms are fine. Beds are comfortable, housekeeping got us additional pillows quickly. Great bathtub.
Staff is excellent and very happy to please (for the most part).
Bars - what can you say, unlimited alcohol, friendly to the kids, quick service.
Food. Buffet leaves a bit to be desired, probably the worst part of our stay. However, I found that by eating at the buffet in the a.m. (love the omelets), at the beach snack area for lunch (excellent burgers and fries), and making reservations for the better restaurants in the evenings, we had no complaints about the food. The French restaurant was definitely the best and the Italian was good also. The staff remembered us from one night to another and were very kind to all of us.
Swimming facilities were fine and the beach was very well kept. If you go during busier times, expect more crowds. This time of year it seemed that maybe 75% of the guests were natives from other parts of Mexico on vacation with their kids. Another part of the year, you may have spring break crowds. Give me the families any day!
If you expect quiet beach or pool time, go somewhere else. If you want a 5-star hotel, go somewhere else (and pay for it). This is a great, easy-going hotel experience for families who just need a break.
