Excellent Service

Posted Mar 27, 2015
The staff was very accommodating. It was my birthday and they made me feel special with songs and cake on the beach! I liked how they had the barriers between beach chairs and beach vendors

Pros: The beach bartender Ramon, and the servers Carlos & Rafael are so attentive. Fish tacos are outstanding!
Location: Love being so close to downtown for shopping, great food & drinks.
They are still working out the kinks in becoming all inclusive. Service is slow when it comes to their dinners. So we would go downtown for some fantastic food. Which we are happy to support the local restaurants since we have been told that they are seeing a decrease in business due to the hotels changing over to all inclusive.

Nice hotel with nice beach and close to everything

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Hotel was amazing. While it rained a couple days while we were there and the hotel staff didn't do much of any activities at all on those days; the sunny days were filled with fun activities. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Pool was clean and beautiful and food selection was better than at most all inclusive resorts. The spa was priced well for the amenities that were provided as well. Really enjoyed my stay and would return. Centrally located to the romantic zone, malecon area, and the marina.

Nice hotel, all-inclusive option not worth it

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Food.
Location: Downtown area which has a promenade along the beach with lots of tourists, shops, restaurants. Excursions to an island nearby.
The hotel was nice and the staffs were excellent. The food that came with the all-inclusive was average at best. The quality was average. They have 4 restaurants and the only one that's OK is the Italian one. The others are not very good. They do have an espresso bar which is great. It's at the stretch of "hotel zone" which is close to the marina and short distance to downtown. The staffs are very helpful.

Good Food, Nice Staff, Small Area, Beach Hecklers

Posted Mar 19, 2015
There were a lot of good things about the resort but a few small things that irked me. The weather was great, the food was good, and the staff brought delicious drinks to you on the beach. All in all that's the experience I was looking for. The small things included running out of vanilla and other flavors for lattes... That seems trivial but at a resort of this size (~300 rooms) how can you run out of several Torani flavors on a Sunday and not have it restocked by Friday?? Throughout the week they also ran out and did NOT have more stock within 2 days for Mint leaves (no mojitos for us) and whipped cream. That, along with the hecklers on the beach calling out to me while I'm trying to read a book or snooze in my chair, are the two main reasons I wouldn't recommend a friend coming along. I understand it's public beach but if you want a quiet beach resort this may not be what you're looking for.

A fantastic 2015 PV Vacation

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Extended hours for the pool for adults only!
We went with 3 other couples (8 in total) for a week in PV. This was my husbands and mine 1st experience in PV and was incredibly pleased with the hotel and the staff! Hotel Lobby bar service: Hands down the best service ever was JoJo, WOW. She was simply amazing. Always smiling, making sure we not in need of anything and just so friendly. We all still talk about her and how she has hospitality down pat!! Pool Service: Miguel he was on top of. With tending us a group (as well as the others) he never let frustration show and we never seen someone hustle like him! He was always smiling and laughing. A great guy in our book! The beach Service: Tony was our server and we did enjoy him. He was on top it as well for being a new employee (I believe just a few days at the time we were there) he was on top of it! We never waited long for anything with him. Fiesta House Restaurant: Was were we always tended to flock. Easy, open and we the service was great! I would to thank the following fine gentlemen that were there making sure were we happy: Rosalio; Cesar, Gume (hands down my favorite) & Roger. These guys never made us wait for much of anything and Gume, that guy was always smiling, making us laugh in which we so enjoyed! All of the staff was kind, always smiling and helpful. Those are just a few that stand out to us. We are planning our trip for next year & hope it is the Fiesta Americana that wins out in the end! If not, we will be back again to visit either way!

No bad days!!!

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: The beach was so nice!! Rock groupings made it feel like a private cove. Great for swimming! Staff was so fun!!! Easy to get around and find things.
Cons: An area (guestroom/locker room facility) for folks on the day they checkout to store luggage and shower before flying home. Checkout is early - 11am.
Location: Great distance from downtown - short and entertaining cab ride away :) Close to the marina, also.
Feb. 2015, a group of 8 of us stayed for 9 days and we never had a bad moment. NO BAD DAYS!!! The staff is incredible and accommodating. The grounds were the perfect size; great distance from hotel to the beach. The pool was super fun! The buffet was a constant but it was so nice to have other restaurants to choose from, as well. The different food stands for lunch were a nice change, too. I wish I could remember everyone's name, but a few that I DO remember are: Jo-Jo in the lobby bar. Gume & Cesar in the buffet/restaurant. Carlos, Miguel & Nacho were our fun servers at the pool!! All-inclusive is the only way to go and we DEFINITELY got our monies worth!!! Never a dull moment. The balcony was nice to have and I do believe that all rooms have one; and NO BAD VIEWS!!

Nice stay in PV

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Older property and the pool needs some updating. The food in the restaurants was excellent, but the buffet could be better. We would go back.
