“Couldn't have asked for more!”
We stayed the first week of December and found everything to be fantastic. I took my Mother on this trip and my main priority in finding a place to stay was a clean and odor free place. That is just what we expierenced. Thanks to those who contributed to this review in the past, I really had nothing else to go by. Fantastic sunsets from the 9th floor. We sat out and enjoyed the chairs on the small deck outside the room each day. The staff was very warm and friendly. Our check in and check out was a breeze. The Hotel is beautiful and the beach is nice. Easy to walk the beach if you go North.
“Have stayed there twice in last two years, will return if price is right”
Excellent vacations both times. Would like to have opportunity of ice in the room without the hassle of calling front desk. Alcohol/food prices a little stiff. No other negatives...........will definitely return in the future.
“Wonderful experience for a long weekend getaway.”
Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff was polite and helpful, the location of the hotel was perfect and the room and the view were outstanding. The hotel had the pool area and beyond that the beach. It felt private because they have the hotel lounge chairs roped off from the beach area so you get the sense that it's private, yet you have access to all the public beach areas. We loved that there was easy access to downtown, and we used the local buses all the time. We did not eat at the hotel much since we ventured out for most meals, but the hotel has 4 places to eat, inlcuding the outdoor bar/snack service, and a swim up pool bar. We flew down from San Francisco, so this was a perfect hotel and perfect location for a long weekend getaway. My only advice is to not take too much advice from staff on where to eat. I sense that the hotel may have some deals with certain restaurants and we were disappointed with one of the suggestions (bad service, and overpriced food). Try the local mom-n-pop taco places. For roughly $5 you'll have one of the tastiest meals of your trip!
“If you want to get away from Tourists from the states in style stay at the FA.....”
The Fiesta Americana is easily one of the nice smaller, resort style hotels. Every employee I met was professional and very polite. The pool is shallow, perfect for walking around on your knees without spilling your cocktail in the pool. Only a five dollar ride from the Malecon. Our room was very spacious, very clean and a home away from home. Exquisite pool side service. If you are looking for a vacation were doing nothing while being pampered then I believe this is the hotel for you. Nice job Fiesta, you get five stars in our book.
“Great location, excellent staff, only drawback, too many seniors!”
Great property, has a private beach (beach is not so great), awesome pool, friendly staff, excellent brunch buffet, rooms with ocean views (if you get lucky).. Only special consideration is - This place seems to be a hot favorite for senior citizens..so young couples might feel out of place... Nevertheless a great property
“We love this hotel!”
This was our fourth time staying at Fiesta Americana. It is very centrally located. The staff is nice and helpful. We enjoyed the daily activities. The hotel has an excellent activities coordinator. There is entertainment for every age group. If you just want to relax, there are plenty of locations around the hotel to do so, such as under a palapa on the beach or around the pool area. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean and very spacious, with a beautiful view of the bay. We cant express how much we love this hotel.
“Will Definitely go back”
This was our second time at this hotel and it was just as pleasant as the first. The rooms are very comfortable, love their beds and pillows! The food at the hotel is exceptional, not to mention the service. Everyone goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We did the all inclusive and highly recommend it. Just make sure that all the restaurants are open, we only had one choice of restaurants for dinner.
“Loving the Fiesta”
This is our second stay at this hotel. We had a short stay there just finishing our stay at the Mayan Palace. I have to say, the staff at Fiesta Americana is way more on top of things, more pleasant and the food is better as well, than our stay at the Mayan. From the front desk knowing who we were as they were notified by the bell desk of our arrival to the staff on the premises the experience was wonderful. Great staff, great pool and great food. We will stay here again. Oh yeah, no people constantly trying to beat you over the head for a timeshare tour. That in itself is a bonus.
“great stay”
excellent room, great grounds, great food in the restaurant, good beach, good location in the hotel zone. Highly recommend.
“Wonderful place to visit”
The hotel is very nice and comfortable. I stayed on the top floor (9th) which includes a breakfast (consisting of juices, pastries, and sandwiches), afternoon snack (soda pop, water, and chips), and a night time appetizer (a hot food varying dayly fish, chicken, beef it was very delicious). The food was great and I think it was worth the extra money. The view from the top floor was amazing also. The hotel's bars and restaraunts are great and not terribly expensive. The pool is only 3.5 feet deep which I would have liked a little deeper but it was a nice pool with a good pool bar. The beach is nice however vendors on the beach are somewhat bothersome but they are easily ignored. Overall the hotel was great and the service was very good.
