Great Value!Posted Apr 9, 2015 on Hotels
Definitely on the economy side, but a great deal if you are okay being a few blocks from the beach. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are pretty bare bones but fine for the price. Beware...they don't have any irons! I stayed for a wedding and had to run to a local laundromat to have our clothes pressed.

Wonderful trip as always!Posted Mar 23, 2015 on Hotels
I have stayed here before, and I will return again! The employees are amazing. The rooftop pool cannot be beat, and the location can't be beat. The hotel is very clean and bright. We each stayed in our own room this time, but they also offer hotel suites with kitchens that make life make long term trips a dream.

Moderately priced alternativePosted Mar 4, 2015 on Hotels
The Hotel Encino is a moderately priced hotel. Don't accept granite countertops or marble bathrooms. The facilities were adequate. The Hotel is located two block from public mercado, the beach, the malecon, and the river, in Puerto Vallarta. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful little hotelPosted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Awesome courtyard, great central location, roof top pool, helpful staff (although not great with English), cute room
Location: Central Puerto Vallarta, right by the Malecon and beaches. Bus stop less than a block away can take you almost anywhere.
Very nice, cute little hotel in central Puerto Vallarta. Rooms are cosy, clean, and front into an open air court yard with numerous plants and a fountain. There is a roof top pool, and a bar right beside it. Great view of the town from the bar. Fair price, central location, and very nice staff (helpful to bring a phrase book if you don't speak Spanish, as the staff speak limited English).

perfect for budget travelersPosted Feb 23, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel Enicno is in a perfect location. Walking distance to everything that I wanted to see. It is located in the romantic zone and is an easy walk to centro, the beach, playa muertos etc. I am a budget traveler and I recommend this hotel to any budget traveler. There is a pool and a bar on the roof, ac, private bathrooms you can't go wrong.

Nice Older ArchitecturePosted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Many local vacationers use this hotel as well. It isn't just Canadians and Americans. I loved the traditional architecture.
Cons: The wifi could be better.
Location: Most everything is nearby.
A great hotel with older architecture in the older part of town. Very near the promenade by the sea. The accommodations are simple and adequate for one wanting a place to clean up and sleep. The wifi only works in the courtyard and is not always reliable.
