Couldn't be happierPosted Jan 15, 2015
Great deal for a wonderful place. Yes, there was construction but I didn't come to Mexico to stay in a hotel. Close to everything and the beach is perfect.

Vacaciones agradablesPosted Jan 6, 2015

horrible hotel with terrible faciltyPosted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: The Ocean View
Cons: With an old hotel like that, there are lots of things to improve. Please read comments above
Location: Nothing to tel, the location & surrounding is not pleasant at all
*The hotel is facing the ocean, which is the only good thing about that, but that was the reason why we booked this hotel *It was a very old 3-storey hotel without no elevators *The front entrance was dusty due to construction. We have to carry our 4 luggage 25 flights of steps down to the main reception desk without no help *The hotel smells very badly, inside & out *The facilities like bed, furnitures & bathroom were dirty *There was no dryer, face towels, etc *The was no sandy beach at all, small rocky sea front *The restaurant is also unacceptable. They did not charge me for the beef dish as it was so hard to chew!!!!! *We stayed there for 1 night, and left the hotel on Christmas Eve, scrambling for another hotel & paid a very high price hotel due to the last minute booking *No apology from the hotel management when we left *Our anniversary went sour due to such an terriible experience

Construction nightmarePosted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Restaurant, balcony
Cons: Tell people about the construction before they book! I would have stayed elsewhere, as being able to use a pool is very important to me
Location: Easy bus ride to town, walk to beach, bus to Mismaloya
We have stayed here before and loved it; however, currently there is major construction on an adjoining building. The entrance to the hotel is blocked by construction. Construction is noisy, dusty, and goes on all day. It also is basically on top of the hotel's swimming pool, so the pool is unusable unless you want to swim to the sounds of jackhammers and have dust falling on you. I feel strongly that the construction should have been disclosed before I booked; since the booking was nonrefundable, we just had to deal with it but it was a major downer on our vacation. On the up-side, the hotel's beachside restaurant is as good as ever, rooms were clean and had large balconies, and nearby Conchas Chinas beach is wonderful.

Great location.Posted Nov 23, 2014
Cons: The hotel needs serious upgrades, old and shabby.
Location: On the beach. Price resonable but better nearby. Bus stop at the door.
Run down hotel but excellent location. Steps to the beach and restaurant.

The coziest little hotel right in front of the beach. Would definitely come back.

Pros: SU PLAYA
Cons: EL MANTENIMIENTO DEL HOTEL
Location: CON LA PLAYA ES SUFICIENTE PARA DISFRUTAR
EL HOTEL ESTA UN POCO VIEJO, PERO ES CÓMODO, EL PERSONAL ES MUY AMABLE, LAS HABITACIONES ESTÁN LIMPIAS, LA PLAYA ES DE LAS MAS BONITAS Y LIMPIAS QUE HEMOS CONOCIDO, PARA LOS NIÑOS ESTA EXCELENTE, PUEDEN ESTAR NADANDO Y DISFRUTANDO UN MAR TRANQUILO Y TRANSPARENTE VIENDO PECES DE COLORES, EL RESTAURANTE ES MUY AGRADABLE Y LA COMIDA MUY BASTA Y RICA. FUERON UNOS DÍAS MUY RICOS PARA MIS HIJOS.

hotel next to construction site.Posted Jul 29, 2014
Cons: the hotel could use some remodeling , improve basic services.
Location: the location is great. the beach is few yards away.
first of all the wall mounted AC didn't work properly, we had to use fan all the time, the bath was hot and small, the towels were 20 year old, the pool is very small. I will not recommend this hotel at all.
