I had a great experience, very nice clean safe friendly place, walkable to all the near by bars, clubs, beach and beach side walk perfect location in downtown. Lots of street food and restaurants in 10 feet. and you also have a community kitchen to cook

The staff was absolutely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bright, colorful and happy place. No elevator at this property. Was nervous when I saw an exterminator going in and spraying the rooms between guest stays, however I never saw any bugs at all so thank you Hotel Roger for having an exterminator!! I thought the decor of the room was simple yet attractive. The beds, pillows and bed linens are very cheap and generic. They are sleepable but would not describe them as "comfortable". No padding or pillow top mattresses here. The pedistal of my bathroom sink was cracked and had been caulked (poorly and without caring what it looked like) but leaked drips of water onto the bathroom throughout my 2 night stay. Very poor lighting in the rooms. There are windows that help with lighting but when shades are pulled open it also allows every person passing by to also look inside your room. Ceiling fan and air conditioning worked perfectly. There was a nice size TV in room but I did not use it. A shared community kitchen was a very nice perk. The front desk offers complimentary locked safes and hairdryers on request. The noise can get playful and rowdy in rooms around the pool but hotel enforces the 9pm pool closing time so that was reasonable. Adjacent Freddy's Tucan restaurant was delicious. Great location. Very walkable. Having said all this, I still would stay here again for a short 2 or 3 nights max.

Very much an “authentic” Mexican hotel. Some things are quirky, but overall the hotel is well cared for. We found the pool area excellent! Clean, comfortable. The kitchen was okay but the first night we had items stolen. Frustrating! Our room was clean, decent bedding though pillows were pretty flat. Housekeeping and maintenance staff were really terrific—friendly, helpful and attentive. The ground floor patio is lovely! We will likely stay again. Thank you!!

Great budget hotel in Zona Romantica. It is clean, safe, located close to lots of eating and shopping options, with a decent pool, and friendly staff. May have found a new favorite.
