Great HotelPosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: Quite, friendly, immaculate. Good food, good drinks, great pool and spa. Great place for Seniors.
Cons: I'm good with it just the way it is.
Location: Although the hotel is not on the beach,it is only a couple minute free ride to the Marival Resort which is on the beach and you have the full use of.
Very pleasant stay.

Great Girls getaway destination. Food was spectacular. Drinks delicious. Staff friendly. Grounds beautiful. Room spacious and immaculately clean. Pool and beach time relaxing. Spa unique and a definite must-do. Really can't find anything to complain about.

AwesomePosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Swimming Pools, Rooms, Service, Restaurants, Food...everything.
Location: We loved the location and did not even leave the hotel grounds other that to go to the sister hotel.
Second time for us....it was wonderful. We hated to leave. No where have we found such a good value for the money. It met and exceeded all of our expectations.

AWESOME TIME and WILL GO BACK AGAIN!Posted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: The service was great. They went above and beyond to get the food we requested. The waiters were always willing and ready to provide the food we asked
Cons: the bracelet idea was not ideal. My husband and I weren't notified that they cost $50 each if you don't return them at the end of the stay.
The place was clean and beautiful! The all inclusive was worth it. We were able to eat great food and were satisfied that we were happy to tip for service charge more than 5%

Great hotel close to the beachPosted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: This Spa, Cleanliness.
Cons: Each show had to have a shower cap!
Location: The tous are amazing.
The hotel has great facilities. The spa is amazing. However the staff are really disappointing. There are two residences. One is the luxury one. The other is like a four star hotel called marival resort Which from there you can access the beach from there. If you are at the residence, You have to call for a right to get to the other building. There was a rude driver his name is Carlos. He asked us why we to Towles with us To the beach!!! We did that because The towel service at the resort was not always available which caused us to waste our time 30 minutes to get back to our hotel and take some towels with us. But guess what one of the stuff is asking you why you are taking the toll service to our other residence And follow you to see if you are right. He was questioning us all the time. That actually ruined our whole day. We paid $280 a day and they were asking about a $5 towel. What is this? So disappointing!

Upscale, All Inclusive, Kid Friendly ResortPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Accommodations, service, pools and grounds. They also provided room service for a 10% surcharge - worth it some nights for kids.
Cons: They should consider purchasing the beachfront lot almost directly across the street for beach access and full service.
Location: For a city atmosphere and night life, hire a taxi for 30 minute journey to Central PVR. Also, Sea Lions/Dolphin and Extreme Adventure Zip Line Tour.
We found the Residences & World Spa as advertized – well maintained, clean, friendly service. They claim to be a 4 Diamond resort and from our experience it is a deserved rating. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The resort is definitely kid friendly as the pools are designed with shallow walk-ins so that small children can be in close proximity yet still be sort of on the own. Most of the guests the week we were there were families with children. It was nice to have something other than buffets that you find in most all inclusive resorts. Only breakfast was offered buffet style but you could also order omelets and eggs prepared to your liking. Lunch and dinner were all off the menu, offered in both air conditioned indoor and outside restaurants. Plate presentations were artful but the food was less notable – not bad but also not remarkable. Service was excellent and worth tipping for. We never had to wait for a table. Although the Marival Residences are not on the beach, access to their sister resort, Marival Resort, via shuttle is included where they provide exclusive beach access with full service. You can also take advantage of restaurants and services at the sister resort but it is definitely a step down and crowded. You can also go out the back of the Residences near the tennis court and beach access is about a block away, but no service offered by Marival. However, there is a local restaurant/bar nearby.

Nice hotel!Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Very spacious rooms, well decorated and clean. The pool area is very nice with great service. The workers work hard. Nice restaurants.
Cons: I think buffed food should be improved.
Location: Nice location with lots of activities to do outside the hotel
We had a great time at the Marival Residences. It is a great place for families with kids.
