“great hotel, even better staff”

great location, great room, great food, good view, but the best thing about this hotel is their staff. each staff we encountered goes out of their way to accommodate our requests. ps, view from the lobby is breathtaking

“The best resort vacation ever!”

My husband and I just returned from the best resort vacation of our lives at Now Amber. We have travelled extensively, and yet were blown away by the physical beauty of the resort combined with the friendliest service we have ever experienced. The food was extraordinarily up-scale; this means that dinner consisted of four or five beautifully presented small courses. You could pick from six restaurants at Now Amber and also another handful at neighboring Secrets for dinner. By contrast, breakfast and lunch buffets provided a broad array of all-you-can-eat, high quality dishes, so large US males did not lack for food! We also saw large guys ordering multiple appetizers and other courses at dinner. For an all-inclusive, the food was spectacular. The house wines were also excellent. You can order bottles of wine and pay, but that was not necessary given the quality of the house wines. The resort is close to the town - just a short cab ride away costing 5 dollars. There are great bars, galleries and other places of interest in town We had a junior, ocean-view suite and I would recommend that kind of room. The view was spectacular, including the sight of parasailers flying higher than I have ever seen before, and the noise of waves crashing on the beach a soothing backdrop at night even through closed doors.

“Loved our stay at Now Amber”

Fantastic service, accommodations, food, environment. This hotel was a great value for me and my teenaged sons. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. We felt completely safe, well cared for and welcomed. We never had to wait for a table and the specialty restaurants were wonderful. The common areas of the hotel were spotless..we never saw a piece of garbage, a dent, scratch or ding mark...even the ashcans were pristine.

“Resort Review”

Overall, the resort was wonderful. It had all the amentities one would need. It was extremely clean and the staff was particularly friendly. It was very modern and the grounds were well taken care of. The beach was not so great though, as there are too many rocks on it to actually lay out or go in the water. The buffet food could be improved and the restrictions for eating at the buffet by the pool could be more lienient, being that you are eating at a pool and not at one of the resturants. The idea of eating at the pool is to be relaxed. As for room service, I recommend the chicken finger platter.

“Best Resort stay ever.”

Everything at Secrets was first rate. We found the hotel room to be great, the food quality and selection was wonderful. The pools were ideal and never crowded. We will be staying at this resort again. The sooner the better. Love It.

“WOW what a great place to vacation.”

The rooms were the best. The food in all the restaurants was superb. The employees were very accomadating, and friendly. I did not want to leave and definately will be back with my family. Thank you for such a great experience.

“Nice hotel in the middle of everything...”

Enjoyed our stay... Good was decent and drinks were good. The staff really tries hard to create a fun trip with activities. Would highly recommend staying there.

“Bang for your buck at this hotel.”

Now Amber was really an excellent hotel. Lots of families there, so it was a good place to bring the kids. Secrets is the sister hotel attached to Now Amber, and was adults only. We went to their pool during the day....less noise. ..it seemed that the restaurants were reciprocal, except Ocena for lunch. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. Now Amber/Secrets even have their own taxi service to and from the airport...$10. The "coupon" deal wasn't all that good. You got a good total amount, but the way you had to spend them was a bit confusing and strange....not a good promotion.

“Great time!”

Great staff, good service, loved the room. Food was good! My husband and I just came back from our anniversary. We had such good experience at Now Amber. We will definitely return to this hotel if we ever go back to Puerto Vallarta!
