Not good for couples

Pros: The adult pool is okay.
Cons: The building looks dated. There is nothing particularly special about this place. Better service would be nice.
Location: Not much to do. There is a mall across the street.
This hotel caters to the regulars aka the locals. We had to flag down waiters to refill drinks while locals were treated like celebrities. Concierge needs to be more accurate with the information they give out.

Not a place to relax
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: By the beach
Cons: The workers didnt leave you alone
Location: Perfect location it was peaceful and safe
When we arrived to the hotel we thought it was a nice looking place to enjoy a vacation... That was until we started to get harrased by the concierges the beach vendors. Any opportunity the working staff had they attempted to sell you a tour or some sort of vacation package. We got tired of the buffet food after 3 days, always serving the same food every day. During the day they were having some sort of construction because all we heard was banging and loud noise in the room. We went there to rest not to be harrased. Not to mentioned the alcoholic drinks taste like sugar and water. We wouldn't go back or recommend this hotel to anyone.

nice hotel

We were happy with everything exept for the fact that the timeshare agents would be breathing down your neck everyday trying to make a sale. If you want to enjoy your time at the hotel just avoid them and don't make direct eye contact!!!

Great beach location hotel
Posted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: romantic beach dinner, staff members
Cons: timeshare reps
Location: wonderful beach area
The hotel location, beach and staff were wonderful. The food was good and different. There was a wonderful beach dinner, very romantic. Nightly entertainment was nice, with one night of latino dancers being excellent. We had the hotel to ourselves on Tues, Wed and Thurs, with it completing filling up on Sat and Sun. No balconies with the rooms was a disappointment, but doable. The timeshare people were a huge nuisance and very persistent. In order to get your room key, you have to sit with a timeshare rep who quickly tells you about the hotel and then pushes an "invitation". They sit in front of the elevators and push for the next 3 days or so. It was very irritating.

Extremly friendly hotel
Posted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: Very warm friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were excellent.
Cons: Sreaming uncontrolled kids after 10pm
Location: Perfect for our requirements
On the beach party night guests complained about the volume of music so it had to be turned off at 10pm and then when you go into the lounge bar waiting for the next entertainment session to start at 11pm it is full of sreaming kids running around and shouting. I appreciate it is a family hotel but there should be some sort of rules re young children screaming and shouting after a certain time. The food was very good but generally could do with being kept a little hotter.

Pros: They catered to every age group with their themed shows in the evening.
We are extremely happy with our decision to vacation at this resort. From the front-end staff to the maids, bar and restaurant servers, they truly went out of their way to ensure our stay was everything we anticipated it would be.

Great Getaway!
Posted Jan 30, 2013
Pros: Very clean, great service and staff, beautiful view of the sunset and beach, money exchange at front desk
Cons: Timeshare salespeople, noise in hallways
Location: Close to airport, across from a shopping center, right along the beach
Staff and service were excellent, and they were always ready to assist. Rooms are clean and fridge is restocked every other day. The buffet had plenty of choices and something for everyone. We were served by the same guys everyday during our stay, and even remembered it was one of our friends' birthdays! The a la carte restaurants were a nice change from the buffet - there is an Italian (formal, men must wear long pants) and a Mexican (casual) one. You can make one reservation for every 4 nights stay but we were able to try both since it was not very busy. I wouldn't really recommend this for honeymooners because it is a family-friendly resort and chances are, you'll hear babies crying, and kids throwing tantrums and running around. We noticed this only on our last day as the weekend approached. Otherwise, majority of the guests were older and retired, so our stay was pretty quiet. I had a wonderful time but would look elsewhere for a relaxing honeymoon. The only major negative I can think of are the timeshare salespeople in the lobby. We just arrived and wanted to settle in our rooms, but got talked into a salespitch. It really annoyed us because it wasn't how we wanted to be welcomed to the resort. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would come back again.
