WOW, what a gorgeous place! We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute at Playa Escondida. It is an absolutely beautiful setting with a wonderful and very accommodating staff. We stayed in a bungalow and it was very charming and romantic. The pool and beachside area are amazing. The food and drinks are also very good. I would highly recommend Playa Escondida to couples and older families.

This place is a pure gem. Perfect for getting away from it all, but with all the comforts of a wonderful tropical resort minus air conditioning and blasting music. From the beach to the pool to the hot tub to the massages to the romantic dinners on the beach - all for a fraction of what you would pay in Hawaii, this place is the best.

Unique, intimate, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hotels, private beach with no vendors, high quality food, boutique rooms but very nice accommodations, basic simple atmosphere to get away from it all but be treated with the best of service.
