“A 3-star Hotel at best. Good for a couple nights only.”

A 3 star hotel at best. Rooms were large but furnishings were just so-so. Mattress was like sleeping on the floor (hard). Hotel was clean and freshly painted. Maid did not dust tops of refrig or microwave. We stayed only 2 nights before we could check in at our timeshare down the street for a week. Location was great if you were OK without a beach. NIce pools and pool area, backs to the waterway between Marina and Bandera Bay. Just a few blcoks to the marina shops and restaurants. Ask for shortcut into the back entrance. Use of Club Regina facilites across the street, however, pools and beach were jam packed so service was slow. Fitness center charges $7 per visit. Bad points: We arrived early friday afternoon. Pool Bar was CLOSED for the day. So was their only restaurant - even though we were going to Marina and Malecon anyways. Saturday We bought a small cooler and beer at OXXO convenient store (1 block). Went to front desk for ice and they tried to tell me I couldn't take a cooler. When I barked back about their bar being closed, they sent down some ice - but it comes from across the street at Club Regina. I wuld say it is OK for a night or two only. For a longer stay..go elsewhere.
