Three connected freeform pools include one for toddlers, one for children, and one for families. Swimming is also available off the resort's 100-meter (109-yard) section of the mile-long beach extending along Banderas Bay's north shore.
Samba Vallarta - All Inclusive supplies boogie boards and kayaks. For surcharges, independent operators offer horseback riding and personal watercraft on the beach. Also on request, a yoga instructor comes to the resort (surcharge).
Mayan Palace golf course 5 km (3 mi) away offers discounts to resort guests. Flamingos golf course is 1.5 km (1 mi) away and El Tigre is 4.5 km (2.75 mi).

“Would stay again”
Beautiful all around, clean spacious room, friendly staff, good food, beautiful views on pool/ocean side.
“Best Value in Nuevo Vallarta !”
This was our 2nd time to Samba Vallarta. And we had a great time again. Even though the hotelcould use slight updating, it is one of the best places we ever vacationed at. The grounds are constantly maintained, as is the pool. It could use a little more variety in the buffet area, but we still found something to eat every day. We highly recommend this all-inclusive resort to anyone who likes to be catered to. The staff is literally at your beck and call. And if you have kids, the Kid's Club is #1. Not only for the kids, but for the parents as well. We can't wait to go back again in a year or two !!
“Excellent all-inclusive family resort!”
This hotel was fabulous! It is much smaller than some of the other resorts and is quite a ways from downtown Puerto Vallarta, but that is one of the things our family really liked about it. I felt very comfortable giving the kids a bit of freedom to do things on their own. The food is just okay, not the best, but still good. The whole resort was very clean and well-kept, and the staff was amazing. They took care of everything for us! I would definitely stay here again with my family, and I would recommend this resort for other families. However, if you're looking for nightlife, you might want to stay closer to downtown. Again, perfect for families.

I was very impressed on the customer service Samba's crew supplied to us on a daily basis. Everyone was extremely nice and help us with any questions we had. I would love to go back just because of the employees at the Samba. Thank you for making my trip relaxing and memorable!!! I will for sure be back in the near future!
“Perfect for girls' weekend”
Myself and four of my girlfriends LOVED this place...it was the perfect all-inclusive place we wanted...all the drinks & food you could want. The staff was amazing & the gounds were beautiful, clean, and extremely well-maintained. Also, with a beach right down the steps from the pool, we had options of where to lay out. And no worries, the waiters still took drink orders down at the beach too :) The beach had many many cabanas for shade, and there were nice showers and foot baths when you came back up to the pool. the beach/pool bathroom was very clean, that really impressed me. we had the 2 double bed suite. The room had a slight musty odor, but nothing that bothered us too bad, especially b/c it was very clean. No bugs either :) comfortable beds & very roomy w/ space. I would not recommend it for a quiet, romantic getaway, however, b/c there were a lot of families and children around. so if that's what you're looking for, this probably wouldn't be the place for you...
“A perfect place to relax”
I visited the Samba with three friends (we're all in our 20's) looking for a getaway with sun and relaxation. The Samba definitely fit our needs. The place was very family-oriented and had a lot of activities during the day (water aerobics, kayaking, boogie boards) to keep us occupied on the resort. The pool was great and the ocean was literally steps away. Best of all was the service. Every single employee was happy and helpful and did their best to accommodate our every need. I would definitely visit Samba again.
“Wonderful vacation!”
This hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, it seemed as though all of the staff members in the hotel really enjoyed their jobs, and wanted to help make sure that we were comfortable and happy. Hotel had fantastic drinks, and great service, especially around the beautiful pool area! The food was pretty good. Some dishes better than others, but there was enough variety that I never left hungry. The specialty restaurants were wonderful. Very very relaxing vacation. We were able to sit and do nothing all day long, but had a lot of help from the hotel staff on days when we wanted to go on excursions. The staff even gave us tips on the best excursions to take for that time of year! I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to go on a great vacation. Honeymooners, couples, families (wonderful kids program and daily activities), anyone!
