Great vacationPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Room and pool and access to beach all so easy and close!
Cons: The front desk gal was not very nice. She was going to charge us and blamed us for loosing our bands when we never got them.
Location: Lots to do, expensive but that is traveling for ya!
We enjoyed several days there. All staff were very friendly and wanted to please no matter what. The pool staff are awesome and very engaging. Had some things happen that weren't so good at the front desk with an evening staff person, but the gal that checked us in worked it out. We should of gotten at least a room night free or free beach dinner for the mistakes they made, but we just wanted to leave on a good note.

it is a nice hotel with friendly staffPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: the beach and pool area
Cons: update the building
the food was only ok and the hotel is too far away from any amenities to walk. The beach area is beautiful

Very nice place to stay.Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: The a la carte restaurants. Very delicious.
Cons: Beds were good, but better pillows would be good
Location: For us the location was good, but we are not much for wandering outside the resort. We did a Vallarta adventure excursion and that was a lot of fun
We had a great time as a family. The food was great, the drinks were good and the staff was very friendly and fun to be around. They have a bathroom right by the beach and pool so if you have small kids your close. The beach is beautiful and the waves are a lot of fun. I would gladly go there again.

NICE! Smaller inclusive on the beach.Posted Feb 27, 2014
Cons: Night life. They have shows but they are not much. Rather poor.
Older, but very nice. Clean, friendly, helpful, good food, GREAT drinks. Beautiful views of ocean and mountains. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Would deffinitly consider returning. Our room was on back side, further from ocean but from our balcony we could still hear and see crashing waves on beach. Many families with children. Lots to do during day (beach, pool, shuffle board, bocci, ping pong, giant chess, water aroebics, volley ball, water polo....). One draw back for us was virtually no night life.

Dirty hotel on the beach with horrible foodPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: It was on the beach and the staff was really nice.
Cons: Clean it!!
Location: Far from downtown and the airport. On the beach
The sheets and tub were dirty. The entire room smelled like mold esp the pillows. The food was bad.

SMALL - basic, great foodPosted Feb 22, 2014

Cons: little table w/chairs in room
Perfect for families. Rooms are VERY basic, no table or chair - the tub was a plus for us.

Nice hotel close to beach with beautiful groundsPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Staff and proximity to the beach.
Cons: Throughout the day and evening pounding music plays loudly on speakers around the resort. Quieter and less obtrusive music would be an improvement.
Location: Nice location away from the madding crowds, with good shopping and markets nearby in Puerto Vallarta.
A friend booked a smoking room, with a balcony, only to be told that there was no smoking in any rooms or on the balcony. She paid more for the room with a balcony and should have been told there was no smoking in the rooms or on balconies.

Overall, Great Experience!Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Smaller resort, felt very safe, kids could go do things without having an adult around (get food, play games, billiards, etc.). Quality of food.
Cons: Beds were too hard, BBQ was missed (and the buffet sign is not informative about the BBQ details).
Location: Vallarta Adventures, Aquaventure Royal Swim with the Dolphins, Bucerius market.
Like the title says, overall a great experience for us. 2 families of four went (2 @ 9 year olds, 2 @ 12 year olds). Lots to do, kids were in the water, at the beach, doing something the whole time. Great kids club and activities, staff was excellent with the kids. Only two negatives...the beds were hard in our room - to the point that we woke up sore every morning. Also, we were never told at check in that Tuesday night, there is no al a cartes, only the Beach BBQ. By the time we found out, it was full. It was disappointing as we were all looking forward to the BBQ. Overall, the quality of the food was good, booze in the drinks is plentiful if you ask. Lots of variety, everyone found something to eat at all meals and snacks. Went off the resort a few times, felt safe with the kids.

Great location ....... Pity about the food !Posted Feb 19, 2014
Staff are good, rooms are adequate but the food and drinks are sub par. Nice pool, nice ocean swimming beach. Overall the place feels tired and lacking energy..... And did I mention the poor quality of food and drinks! Won't go back.

Great staff, mediocre facility and foodPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: The staff was wonderful, the dinner restaurants were really good, and the bars were perfect.
Cons: The room quality and buffet meals.
Location: The location was great. It's about 25 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta. We went to a few bars and clubs in Puerto Vallarta and did a night cruise
My boyfriend and four of our friends (all in our early to mid 20's) stayed at this hotel for the week. The staff was wonderful and the all inclusive aspect is a great deal. The buffet food was alright, definitely nothing to brag about. A few of us got sick, but we don't know for sure if it was from the food or if we just caught a bug. There are 2 sit down restaurants you can make reservations for dinner and they were both delicious, they also have a BBQ once a week that you can make a reservation for. I'd recommend waking up at 7am every morning to make the reservation for dinner. Our room was terrible, the air conditioner didn't work so the room was extremely humid and the safe in our room needed a key. For whatever reason, there were not enough keys for all the safes in the hotel, so we had to put our passports and money in our friends' safe. Our four friends stayed in 2 other rooms, but their air conditioning worked and their safes were number pad. They didn't have many complaints about their rooms. The beach was beautiful and had many water activities for either free or a reasonable price. The pool was wonderful and had water volleyball and polo. The resort is definitely more family oriented, but we still had a good time and definitely took advantage of the all inclusive package.
