Feel at home, close to the beach.

Pros: The location.
Cons: Your internet connection!
Location: Walking,shopping ,swimming,many restaurants,just nice.
The staff is always friendly and really trying to be off help. For our taste it would be nice when the vegetables would be fully cooked instead of raw. There was always a big selection of food to chose from. We liked the fact that the hotel is right in the middle of all the action and right on the beach.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Closeness to the ocean and staff friendliness.
Cons: WI-FI was not available in the room.
Our stay at San Marino was a good experience. For the money we paid, we got a very good ocean view room and excellent room service every day. The food was delicious and the restaurant/bar service was outstanding. We shall be happy to return and recommend it to others.

Location: On the beach, next to the pier. Lots of restaurants and shopping right there.
We loved our junior suite, third floor, facing the beach, nicely furnished.

Great location

This was my 3rd stay in this hotel. Great location on the beach and in old Vallarta. Food has definitely improved since my last visit 3 years ago but still best to plan on eating at some of the excellent, inexpensive near by restaurants a few times during your stay if you want some variety. Some rooms do need upgrading but overall clean and nice staff.

Close to the beach and restaurants.

Pros: Location
Cons: Beds, some of the room's are small, not well lit and old looking. Internet is slow and only available in the lobby/pool area.
Location: right on the beach, tons of restaurants and bars. Easy to walk to the boardwalk area.
Stayed in the single king bed room first. They are not very nice, pretty small with uncomfortable beds. We got moved to a double room later after my brother arrived. They are WAY nicer in every way. The single bed room was all inclusive but the only thing that is really good for is breakfast. The bar only has two beers, Tecate Light and Indio and the drinks are watered down and not good. Plus, with the access to all the bars and restaurants around, it's better to just not have the all inclusive. All in all, if you want to stay downtown, this is a good place for proximity to everything, it's nothing fancy but that's not what we wanted anyway. Staff are great.

Stayed here for 8 nights and it was a great price, comfy room, good AC and close to the beach, grocery store and walking distance to Malecon.

Good budget hotel on the beach!

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: The price is right for the location, all-inclusive, pools and being on the beach.
Cons: Handicap accessibility (stairs to the restaurants and beach). There were only 5 lounge chairs near the family pool. It is an older hotel.
Location: If you like to be in the heart of things, this is where you want to stay. On Playa Los Muertos, in the middle of the Romantic Zone!
Check in was quick and uneventful. We had contacted the hotel directly prior to arriving to find out what rooms we had, to order a fridge in one of them and make sure a crib was available in one of them. We did receive the rooms we were told we had, the crib came within minutes but the fridge was never delivered. Even after asking them a couple times.

We loved our stay here. Rooms are clean. Mattresses are overly hard. Food buffet is plentiful and good. Hotel staff is friendly. Directly on the beach. Beach is public and busy. Best thing is the location on the beach and short walking distance to a large number of great restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment.
