I feel I had a wonderfull trip,went fishing,swam in the ocean,had great meals all in all I would defenetly do it again

This hotel is perfect! The employees are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not a massive chain hotel, which I liked because we were treated like family. We never had to wait to get service, elevator, or chair at the pool. The beds and pillows were the best I have ever slept on in a hotel. We did not do the all inclusive because we wanted to go experience Puerto Vallarta, but if we had just wanted to stay at the resort most the time the all inclusive would have been the way to go. I would definitely love to stay here again!

The hotel itself is very nice, we had a suite it was huge and very nicely decorated. We had two big problems: 1.- It's right next to a very noisy hotel where people seem to be drinking all the time and were yelling well until dawn. 2.- The staff, though friendly, were extremely burocratic. The manager scolded us when we arrived because we wouldn't give the bellman our bags (very small bags with wheels, it was only a weekend stay). They also wouldn't give us a late checkout even though the hotel was half full at best. We also had a personal "butler" who didn't seem to solve anything.

This was the best vacation I have ever had. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. The food & drinks were excellent. The hotel was very clean in a areas. I will definitely be returning next year.

This Hotel was wonderful, partly because the size made the service extra special. The staff knew our names early on and understood our needs and wants quickly. I especially appreciated the way they looked out for my younger son, age 5. He so enjoyed the staff, he could be found behind the reception desk lending a hand. The staff will satisfy any request, and it is clear the men and women who work in this hotel are proud of their service. The staff works as a team to deliver the absolute best quality of service. The food was genuine and all sit down not buffet, which my family and I prefer. However, if you are not satisfied with the quantity, they will provide seconds. The kid's club is centrally located and is part of the resort, rather than an afterthought. However the kids are well cared for by all the staff, not just Gloria. Clearly, this place values kids. If you are looking for a place where you feel valued and special, this is it.

This was NOT a relaxing, sit-by-the-beach-and-chill type of vacation! Not unless you want people bothering you CONTINUOUSLY to buy junk and the neighboring hotel on loud speakers shouting at all hours of the day. If you want quiet and rest, go North to Nueva Vallarta, but be prepared to pay dearly for taxis or risk your life with the crazy bus system! This property is located at the half-way point between the downtown and the airport, but there are no good restaurants around here and if you are inclusive you really only have three places to chose from everyday. If you chose not to be inclusive then you will be going out on buses or taxis for every meal. The pools are fine but the jacuzzis are shallow and warm, not hot, perhaps due to the climate. However, at night you freeze. They have a few activities, that we did not participate in and the gym, well that's a very small room, with a glass wall so everybody who walks by can watch you. We are avid spa-goers, and with the $25 massages down the street we did not want to pay the hotel's pricing but you get a much different atmosphere. The massage down the street is good but the facilities are not that clean or quiet. None-the-less, this was our choice versus paying three times the price at the hotel. The suites are huge with a stocked kitchen aside from salt and pepper(?) . Had to borrow that from the restaurant and if your looking to have some of your own meals there is a Soriana grocery store just down the street.

I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to stay in the Puerto Vallarta area. The staff was always there to help. From the minute we arrived the bell hops opened our doors and carried our luggage for us up to the room. We then received a champagne toast upon entering the lobby. After checking in we proceeded to our room which was far beyond my expectations. I couldn't have asked for more and I highly recommend upgrading to the deluxe suite which is fully loaded with a full kitchen, walk in showers, jacuzzi, and large balcony. The resort as a whole was extremely clean and well kept. If I had to pick the best part of the resort I would have to say the staff and their service. The only area that the resort may be lacking in is the variety of restaurants and menus. While it was certainly more than enough to meet my expectations, it did change off and on every (2) days and with only 3 restaurants you're bound to see many of the same entrees. However, the food was very good and I often found myself ordering the same thing more than once which is why I didn't mind not having such a wide variety of restaurants. Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa definitely set a high expectation for an all inclusive resort and I plan on staying there again.

New, clean, friendly and helpful staff (Ivan was the best!) the food was good but not a lot of variety.

A very modern and well designed hotel. Amazing, my room is cleaned twice daily. Very nice children center, I can check him in for a few hours and he likes doing a new craft everyday. Not all dining waiters speaks English well, and sometimes the order is wrong, the food also a bit salty to my taste. Overall, a very nice stay. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
