“Great Resort, will definately go back!”
this was out forst time with an "all inclusive" resort, and it was a great experience. Hotel was clean, service was excellent. Food was hit or miss Buffets - good with nice selection Mar Intimo Restaurant - lousy service and food, ordered the filet mignon and it came dry and cold, complained to the waiter and he said something stupid " oh its because the ceiling fans are on", asked for water and waited so long I decided to get it myself (i will not be going to this place again) Brazilian BBQ - was good Japanese restaurant - was good Snack bars in pool area - was good Room service Food - Good but did not come hot (room temperature) overall it was very nice there and I will definately go again
“Fantastic - great value”
Service was excellent. Food was good. Beach was not great - muddy water - but great views. $1,500 credit was awesome. We got a couples massage, various tours, and a room upgrade with the credit. Great honeymoon package. We were treated like royalty. Lots of kids at resort got a little annoying for our honeymoon, but we were satisfied with the whole package. Very nice staff.
“1st trip outside the states”
The hotel staff was great and the resort was nice but the biggest disappointment was the food and I think it may not be geared for Americans during the summer. The other upsetting part is the constant pressure for timeshare purchases, from the airport through the transportation company and then the guilt trip from the hotel staff because that's how you get your resort credit
“Can't wait to try other Palace Resorts”
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff at the Vallarta Palace bent over backward to make sure we had an excellent time. Their goal was to make sure we enjoyed our stay and would come back to that resort, or other Palace resorts, and they met that goal. At first we were worried that we would feel pressure to attend a time-share presentation (as they do direct you a "guest services" desk that does try to sell you on the presentation), but once they figured out we weren't interested (they approached us twice) we were never bothered with it again. Our room was great, and very comfortable, but could have been larger (we were on the concierge level). We made use of room service most nights, and they were prompt and very courteous. The grounds were impeccably clean and the staff at every level made sure we were having a good time. The only problem with the resort was the lack of nightlife available. Each night they had some sort of show/music put on by the staff or a house band, but it was much more of a family atmosphere and was lacking for a younger crowd (we are in our late 20s). Because they are further from downtown, there is a bit of isolation as to nightlife. Aside from that, we would recommend the Vallarta Palace, and are considering their other resorts for our next vacation.
“Wonderful Vacation!”
We had a wonderful time at Vallarta Palace. We go to Puerta Vallarta once a year and this was our first time staying in Nuevo Vallarta and trying an all inclusive. Overall we were very happy! The service was above and beyond-and my husband and I are both in the hotel/food industry so thats saying alot. The entire staff was so wonderful I can't say enough! They made us feel right at home and like royalty! We were traveling with our 16month old baby and they were soooo attentive to him and his needs and our extra needs it made it so enjoyable! The room was beautiful and clean and the maid service was top notch! Room service was quick! The pool was beautiful, entertainment was so much fun, beach is beautiful and again the attentiveness of the staff was top notch! Now I do have to be a bit picky because I am in the industry...the food...while good and for all inclusive it certainly offered something for everyone, but if you are a "foody" then you may be disappointed. It is all good middle of the road food-nothing that blows your mind. I also wish they had a better wine list to choose from but again this is just picky things. Now the one thing that was VERY DISAPPOINTING was the SPA. DO NOT pay for any spa treatments! I used the spa because we had hotel points but if I had paid for the treatments I had received then I would be furious! Massage was a girl rubbing lotion, facial was just a quick cleanse and pedicure -barely basic. OTHER then that WONDERFUL! Will return!
“Excellent hotel staff”
We couldn't ask for a better hotel for our first time in Mexico. The staff at the Vallarta Palace were friendly and eager to help, the all-you-can-eat options were plentiful and appetizing, and overall the hotel was very clean and very nice. The only issue I had was that the bed was a little too hard for my liking; however, that would not stop me from staying at this hotel again!
“Perfect Vacation”
Paradise! Couple from denver. It was our universary we really enjoy our stay at Vallarta Palace. The food was excellent, customer service aswome. It is a very clean and beautiful place , we love the sunsets. Hotel points are excellent we enjoy massages, romantic dinner and photo sesion by free. We will go back next year!!!
“Superb week in Mexico!”
Beautiful location. Good food, especially the Mexican food. Private beach with sensational sunsets. Brand name liquor/shots. Staff is great and super responsive to your every need. Paradise!
“Bad Experience at Vallarta Palace - don't go there”
Awful food and wine selection. Poor service. Had several issues where hotel representatives failed to fix issues in a timely and friendly manor. Had to change rooms due to construction at 2am in the morning. Not worth the money. Worse all inclusive experience ever! Do not stay here. There are so many other resorts with better food, service, and beach.
“Loved it!”
This place was awesome! I would definitely recommend it to others! It is a little piece of heaven...no complaints whatsoever!! Best all-inclusive for your money!
