The location of Villa de Amor is 5 star. We had a wonderful time there. The service was attentive. The lack of amenities bring it down to more like 3 star. Although we were there for a week, you only get the requisite shampoo and conditioner once ( for 4 of us ) and coffee as well. The light /fan in our room never worked quite well no matter how often someone came to repair it.. A little more maintenance would add a star also. The restaurant has table right on the ocean and that was lovely. Over all the staff was quite friendly and helpful. What was missing was the lack of amenities and special touches.. Towels for the beach were wonderful.. just a little more daily attention would have been nice...
