Attracting both families and couples seeking a relaxed environment, the resort features a Spanish Colonial courtyard that opens to expansive grounds with flowering gardens, lawns and towering palm trees. Bay Breeze Spa takes its inspiration from the sea and includes a range of options tailored to nurturing your body back to its natural balance. Guests of the spa are offered the latest and most innovative skin care and spa techniques including massage, hydrotherapy, body scrubs and wraps, facials, waxing, and hair and nail care. Oceanfront massage is offered on a lawn-covered point. A complimentary fitness center features women's and men's saunas and nine-person spa tubs; it also provides weight machines, cardio machines, and free weights. A shopping arcade includes a grocery store and a laundry center with coin-operated machines. Complimentary activities include pool aerobics, cooking/cocktail lessons, billiards and dancing classes. La Trattoria - An authentic Italian restaurant. We offer a variety of menu choices that are prepared with the freshest ingredients. Simply choose from a wide variety of antipasti, pastas, and delicious pizzas cooked in stone-fired ovens.

Palmita Market - Enjoy an early morning cappuccino while collecting a box lunch for a day of adventure. Deli Baguette offers homemade breakfast pastries, organic salads, sandwiches, gourmet desserts, snacks, and beverages. Within the deli, Cyber Café provides computers with high-speed DSL lines for fast internet access.

Measuring 40 meters long (130 feet), a freeform activities pool contains a rock-garden waterfall with a 5-meter (16-foot) water slide. Nearby are a 12-person spa tub and a 17-meter long (56-foot) oblong pool flanked by two 3.5-meter-diameter (11-foot) children's pools. In another section of the resort, a 29-meter-long (95-foot) freeform "quiet pool" features a sunbathing island. Adjacent are a 12-person spa tub and a picnic area with complimentary gas barbecue grills. The hotel supplies beach towels.

The resort's frontage on the hotel zone's beach measures 61 meters (200 feet) and includes an offshore trampoline raft. Thatched roof palapas and umbrellas supply shade, and a roped-off section protects sunbathers from being solicited by beach vendors.

For the first hour, use of boogie boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear, windsurfers, and pedal boats is complimentary. Independent operators offer rentals for personal watercraft, parasailing, and banana boating on the beach. An independent scuba diving instructor offers basic lessons in one of the resort's pools and advanced lessons and certification classes in the ocean (surcharges). The resort includes three tennis courts, two of which are lighted. Daytime play is complimentary, with a surcharge for night play.
