“Awesome!”

Great resort with great employees! The pool is unbelieveable! Rooms were are very clean the grounds are very well maintained. We had a one bedrom with a huge deck that overlooks the pool. About 20 minutes to the airport. We took the bus into town for about 25 peso's. We loved Buserieas it is about a 45 minute walk on the beach bucket of beer is $7.00 US and great restruants that are cheap. Go to Fajita Republic for dinner! Great food! Can't6 wait to go back. This was our second visit to this resort and both times were great!

“Beautiful Resort”

THe hotel was beautiful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. One night we had a noisy group next door, but after that it was great.

“great!”

very modern, and clean! quiet most of the time.. friendly staff and cousy rooms. the beds were not hard at all as many other hotels out there. kitchen included so you can buy groceries and save a little bit on food, coz believe me it is not cheap at all.. (good thing they have a super market near by "LA MEGA"), the taxi is nos cheap either to go to the city they will charge you about 20 dlls. and 20 dlls to come back to nuevo vallarta. I bought a pizza at the italian restaurant they have next to the pool, and honestly it was pretty bad, so dont try it. i wish they have the all included version as other hotels do, because you get to spend ALOT in food by going outside to dinner. one other thing, dont bother yourself by trying to check in early coz that will not work at all, we got there at 8:00 am, and they gave us the room at 4:00 pm!!!!.. so we wasted a lot of time there.. but overall great hotel, modern instalations. great if your going on a family trip, coz its really quiet...

“Very Nice Hotel”

Hotel and pool were very nice. Beach area was ok. Hotel food was expensive and the onsite Italian restaurant was marginal.

“Wonderful hotel”

A delightful stay overall. Best place to relax and do nothing. Location is not so great if people want to go into downtown Puerto Vallarta.

“One of the best resort experiences I've ever had!”

My friends and I were a little worried traveling down to Mexico after hearing about all the violence that has been going on, but we felt nothing but safe at Flamingos. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They gave us great restaurant recommendation, were quick to get us transportation into Puerto Vallarta and offered fun entertainment at night. We were EXTREMELY happy with our decision to stay at Villa del Palmar Flamingos, and we can't wait to go back!

“"Look no more"”

Our whole vacation was marvelous. Starting with the easy way to find a complete package at Expedia. The staff is super friendly and prompt not just to help but to please. During the entire stay, I saw no one moody waiter or any other employee. The hotel was clean from top to bottom everywhere you looked. Grounds and gardens perfectly maintained (even behind the hotel), they even washed the whole area around the pool every night (I hadn't seen that before). The food was excellent, the restaurants beautiful; since our package was all inclusive, I was thinking we'd get a boring bufett, but except for the breakfast, which had a huge selection, the other meals were a la carte, delicious. The salads were so nicely arranged, that I didn't want to eat them! ha ha. Our room was very big and decorated with a very good taste. The bed was confortable! All rooms have ocean view. They ladies in charge of the rooms even asked us if we needed any extra towels or goodies if we were around. They didn't charge us for a towel and a key that we lost. Another very nice service that this hotel offers and I hadn't seen before is the hospitality room, which is a room where you can take a shower and get ready right before you leave if you had to check out at 11am. but do not fly until the evening, so you may still enjoy the beach and the pool for the rest of the day. It has a very nice family environment, though we didn't take our kids this time. The photos on the webpage fall short to this place.

“Nice facility”

Nice hotel. Nice beach. Nice pool. Good food. The bed was hard and so were the pillows. The kitchenette was a great amenity. I loved being able to cook what I wanted and sit on the balcony and enjoy my meal. Rooms were clean and well serviced each day. I had reserved an "ocean view" room for my 7-night stay but upon arrival, my requested room type was not available. As a result, I did not have an ocean view on my first night and I had to do a room change after the first night, which was a bit of an inconvenience. The staff seemed very willing to provide a high level of service in general. The free use of the kayaks was a nice feature.

“Better then the pictures”

Wonderful resort. My family with two young children stayed for 5 nights. The pool, grounds and beach were far nicer then the pictures represented. Room interiors are correct, comfortable and new looking, but felt dated. The one bedroom was plent big enough and included a full kitchen. We opted for the "inclusive" package. It it a bit anoying to always be signing for your order. We knew that going in, so we didn't let it bother us. And it was not totally clear what was included, but we quickly learned that just about everything was. Because most of the resort is not on a meal plan I think the food is far better then most all-inclusive (as the are competing for business). Go prepared to sign for your food and drink. Think of it as more of a "meal plan" with plenty of options rather then an all inclusive resort and you will be very happy.
