always enjoyablePosted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: bed and bedding uncomfortable...not very high quality so poor sleep makes for tough nights
Location: great location.
been here 3 times now. the all-inclusive option seems to be suffering a bit with slightly lower quality food and fewer choices. drinks at the pool bar not as well made as in past. still overall nice experience due to high quality staff and nice accomodations

Beautiful stayPosted Feb 26, 2014
Location: Its a little far from downtown Puerta Vallarta
Villa Estancia really knows how to take care of there guests. From checkin to our pool server Alonzo service was over the top. If you want to relax this is the place to go

A little taste of paradise in MexicoPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Excellent staff, casual-elegant decor, fabulous food, great location.
Cons: We had the impression on the Expedia website that our meals were included, but they were not. Be careful when you book.
Location: Right on the beach, an easy walk to galleries and shops in Bucerias, several tours easily available to whale watch, adventure or visit other towns.
My girlfriend and I needed to get away from the cold, and Villa La Estancia proved to be the perfect choice. Situated right on the beach with miles and miles of sand for walking in either direction, I cannot imagine a better location for a southern getaway. Every day in Riviera Nayarit the sun shines and the breezes blow, making the temperature very comfortable even when it is quite hot. Estancia is low key compared to most resorts in the area, with a mixture of adults and children but without the loud pool activities and pulsing music (for that Estancia guests are more than welcome to go to the sister resort, Los Flamingos, next door). Vendors are apparent, but not pushy, and never hassle you anywhere on the beach. If you want to buy something you can walk the 15 minute pathway to Bucerias, a delightful artsy Mexican village with many galleries and interesting shops, along with great restaurants and places to sit and have coffee or tequila. While more expensive than most, overall, one of the best sun holidays we've ever had!

Excellent suites right on the beachPosted Feb 23, 2014
Beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly and attentive staff and service from start to finish. Sandy beach extended for miles; great for long walks and runs. Weather was ideal, ocean great for swimming and boogie boards. Bonus Skydiving experience incredible! Perfect spot for a relaxing family holiday

Great for couples or families...Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Small, family friendly and romantic accommodations. Suits all your needs. Pool and hot tubs were gorgeous and room for everyone by the pool.
Restaurant was excellent, food was great. Mexican cuisine along with other options, all were scrumptious. We rented a 3 bedroom villa and booked the all inclusive package. Drinks and food were premium. House wine was also good as part of the all inclusive package. 24 hour room service, came in very handy. Great service and staff were amazing.

Great hotel, great service, great location!Posted Feb 19, 2014
Room accommodations were luxurious. The good was great. Wish there were a few more choices. Only 2 restaurants & small menus but going to restaurants next door at Flamingo helped. Really the only complaint was waiting for a bill. Plates were cleared, drinks were empty, they Has to know we were done but no bill. We were on the all inclusive plan which I highly recommend so we usually had to leave the table & they'd bring the bill later to the room! The food they did have was delicious though. We've stayed many places in Mexico and this spoiled us for the others. We'd definitely go back.

Good quiet hotel with good service and food.Posted Feb 14, 2014
We found very little about this hotel we would want to change. It was quiet with good service. The building and grounds were very well maintained and the food was excellent. We did the all-inclusive option for 6 days and though the menu was limited, we didn't eat the same thing twice in the 6 days. Our meals were definitely a high point of the stay there. We look forward to going back to this same hotel.

Excellent hotel for a 10 day all inclusive stayPosted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: The staff, the food, and the location.
Cons: Information about the activities available at the sister hotel next door only provided through a "time share" concierge
Location: Beautiful beach front location with miles of beach for walking, waves for boogie boarding and other water activities. Walking distance to Bucerias.
"Four of us just returned from a 10 day stay at Villa La Estancia and cannot say enough good things about our holiday. First and foremost are the wonderful staff...from Leo the every smiling and pleasant doorman/bellman, to the concierges such as Claudia and Sandra. From the moment you step into the Estancia you feel welcomed and special. They cannot do enough to help you and any question or problem that you might have during your stay they go out of their way to answer and solve. The housekeeping and grounds staff keep the place immaculate and the nightly treats and turn-off service are a special touch. Felix is also ready at the beach/pool to set up your lounge chairs with fresh towels and is a cheery presence that greeted us every morning! The food at both La Parrilla by the pool and the steakhouse, La Casona was delicious and beautifully presented. We took the all inclusive option and were delighted that we did. The food and drinks were definitely up to their five star rating. We enjoyed several meals at The Flamingos next door which provided a great alternative. The Mexican restaurant had many dishes that we will have to return to try as did La Trattoria, the italian restaurant. The staff at both locations were outstanding...thanks so much Raul (see I did remember!), Eduardo, Guillermo and Victor and Alonso who took care of us everyday not only in the restaurant but on the beach and by the pool..We were wonderfully spoiled.

Absolutely amazing hotel and staffPosted Jan 30, 2014
I don't even know where to start! Everything was fantastic. Rooms were modern, food was great and there were a lot of choices. The staff was vey accommodating and friendly. Resort itself was beatiful, and very well manicured. The pool and beach area were very clean, comfortable, and chairs were not a concern to get if you were a little late on the day to come looking for a chair by the pool or beach. Overall this was a fantastic resort and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
