Lived up to its 4 diamond status

Posted Jul 8, 2014
my girlfriend and I stayed at the villa premier hotel on our most recent vacation. we were welcomed by a very friendly staff with a five minute welcome massage and champagne. the hotel was located in a perfect location for us because we wanted to be close to everything. As long as you know the bus routes, or have pesos, it is a short distance from everything. Which was awesome. The hotel staff kept our mini bar stocked everyday, clean, and great food was always awaiting us whether it was through room service or by the poolside. we love kids, but we were thankful that this was adult only so we were able to enjoy it a little more without hearing the screaming of kids by the pool.it was close enough to be close to everything, yet far enough where it was in tact and overcrowded.my girlfriend is already planning to return in January for my birthday and we will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Thank you via premiere for all your hospitality.

Quality Product

Hotel is very nice and we enjoyed it lots! Beware of the intense sales pitch you'll get. When you check in a concierge will try and sit you down and convince you to do a 90 minute pitch in exchange for a discount on local adventures. They will beat you up hard for hours trying to get your money, if you want the discount just go out on the street and you can get it from anyone with even a hair of bartering. Outside of that the food was incredible, service was superb, everyone is very nice and amenities are plenty.

Very Nice Hotel And Staff

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Hotel And Staff Were Excellent. Service Was Excellent, Food Was Excellent. Only Con Was That The Beach Was public And Not Very Clean. People On The Beach Were Constantly Trying To Sell Us Things, Making It Hard To Relax And Truly Enjoy.

We had a large group of friends staying at this fairly small hotel. The staff did a wonderful job to accommodate dinner with 30 people. The hotel is in a great location that allows you to easily experience PV but also enjoy the comforts of the all-inclusive resort. This was our second time staying here, I can guarantee there will be many more visits!

Nice hotel close to beach, food, shopping

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: All rooms faced the Pacific ocean and poolside area. Great view from the balcony. The spa was very nice with friendly staff.
Cons: Would have liked the pools to be a little cleaner, as was multiple debris in them. More frequent vacuuming and/or skimming would have resolved this.
Location: Close to shopping and various eateries. Had a convenience store very close by for any last minute items needed.
Very friendly and accommodating staff when we arrived, albeit we were earlier than posted check in time. We were taken to our room by a staff member whom also carried our luggage. When entering the room, disappointed as had booked/requested a room with a king size bed, however, there were 2 either standard or queen size beds. We inquired about a room with a king size bed and were informed that they didn't think there were any rooms left with king size beds. The bedside table lamp light bulb burned out immediately upon our arrival and we requested another one 4 times before it was corrected. The room safe kept automatically changing our security code when a certain numbered button was entered, so we would have to remember the change for the next time we needed access-this was reported also. We arrived on a Wednesday and had a great afternoon relaxing by the pool and walking along the beach. By Friday, a large group (approximately 25) of people arrived and were so loud and belligerent by the pool area that it was impossible to relax and/or rest. This continued from early to mid morning through late evening until their sporadic departures on Sunday. Would have liked hotel staff to request they decrease the noise level. One female guest had the loudest laugh we had ever experienced, and was so inappropriate and unnecessary. Everyone should be mindful of other guests present at a resort, and staff should not be hesitant in requesting more adult/respectful behavior.

Nice hotel on the Beach

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The hotel was small but very nice.
Cons: I would have liked more food options.
We didn't purchase the All Inclusive, which we should have it would have been easier for us. We had never been to Puerto Vallarta, and didn't know the "areas". It is very close to the Malecon and a lot of the sights we wanted to visit.

PV with the kids

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: All three restaurants were better than expected.
Cons: Expedia needs to get their signals straight about "all inclusive".
Location: Walking distance to "boardwalk" (downtown tourist area). A little bit of seediness around, including high pressure vendors, but you expect that.
What was booked as "all inclusive" wasn't, so that was a bummer. But the hotel was good, the food WAY better than we expected, and in general, a fun and relaxing time.
