not badPosted Jul 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I think it was a little high priced for the quality but overall it was a good place to stay for a few nights. Not much on the entertainment side and all the drinks were served in plastic cups.

look for a different hotel,,Posted Apr 16, 2013
Please, read the reviews before you book in, the rooms smell, the furniture is old, the beds are hard, the food is not good, and is far from the malecon. I did not get in the pools either because they water seemed dirty. I read most of the reviews when I did the reservation and some say good things and others not so good,,, believe me, all the not so good things are true. I will never stay here again even if they pay me!!

Nuevo Vallarta's Best Kept SecretPosted Mar 12, 2013
Pros: Breakfast,Biking,Sunning and more Sunning
Cons: Cant think of any
Location: Palm trees averywhere, hot sand, nice pools.Close to busses, cabs, and the OXXO store which is like a 7/11 but cheaper.
Spent 14 nights.Staff Oscar was the best.He spoke and understood English very well.Jimy and Charlie at the desk were good but could improve as they didnt understand well.Room was always nicely cleaned, swept and mopped daily.Always a nice smell to come back to.Bike rent was great at $3.00 per hr.Beach and pool areas were cleaned and raked daily.Always a smile and an Ohla from the staff as i can through the lobby area.I just had the breakfast and the staff there were always cleaning and refilling the food trays. The area was nice and Quiet. When into Puerto Vallarta one day but couldnt wait to get back to Varadero in Nuevo Vallarta for the peace and quiet and less people.I cant wait for next year to see Oscar,Jimy and Charlie and enjoy the 26 to 30 above HEAT.If you go, make sure you ask for Oscar, he will point you in the right direction for all your bus, cab, and bike outtingsYou will not go wrong talking to OSCAR.

For the price of hotels in PV I would say it was quite good for a one night stay.

Will never stay here again!Posted Dec 6, 2012
Pros: Nice beach and lots of beach palapas/chairs. Free wireless in the room. Stools and ledge to sit and look out the (opening) window to the ocean.
Location: Remote location and not near very much. Need a car or catch the bus outside the hotel.
For an "All-Inclusive" hotel, I was extremely disappointed. You have to pay extra for Local phone calls, the (personal) use of the in-room bar fridge, and nothing was stocked in the Bar-fridge. Several times I had to request bottled water and coffee supplies for the room that were supposed to be included. The beds were small and very hard. They boast 17 TV channels of which only the CNN channel was guaranteed to be in English. Two other channels were sometimes in English. The A/C worked OK, but the remote control fixed to the wall fell off. The food was not a typical buffet. Very few selections of not hot when it is supposed to be. All of the food is totally of the local type. And you're forced to wait till 830 am before the restaurant opens and then they weren't ready. Then you can't have supper till after 7 at night. These times are restrictive if you want to do other things around town. And the price for all this is way out of line (probably double what it's worth).

Our stay was great. The wireless Internet was my only complaint. It worked in the courtyard area only. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is better is your Spanish is at least proficient. Other than that it's a great location. A must see is the shopping at San Juan de Dios market.

Hotel needs upgradesPosted Apr 11, 2012
Rooms and facilities are very dirty. The all inclusive meals are very poor quality and few choices.
