I was visiting my son for Mom's weekend at University of Idaho. This was the only hotel available because of various events at both WSU and U of I. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice, plus it only took me 20 min. to get to the University. I will definitely stay there again!

Good for U of I or WSU parents!

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Location, pet-friendly, good grocery store
Colfax is 15 miles from Pullman, and 24 from Moscow; close enough to make it a short drive to campus, and far enough away that there are still rooms available for those big weekends!

Nice hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: It was a great value for the price.
Location: It is 15-20 minutes from Pullman and a great place to stay while doing campus tours.
This is a great place to stay when you are visiting WSU in Pullman. The hotel was very clean, everything was pretty new and the staff was very helpful.

Our Stay at the Best Western-Wheatland

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: It was nice appearing and the room was great except for the one thing discussed above. They served a real good breakfast.
Cons: It would just be the one thing mentioned above.
Location: It is close to Washington State University at Pullman, WA This motel is a good place to stay when attending events at WSU.
When we entered the room, everything looked great except that it smelled like it had been smoked in at sometime in the past. We told a staff member about it so they wouldn't think it was us. We had to leave for the football game right after that. Upon checking out the next morning, we received an apology and a discount on the room rate which we weren't really expecting. We were very pleased with that. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable, clean, pleasant and well equipped. We had a real good night's sleep.

Nice place

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Nothing needs improving...well except for keeping towels in the pool area.
Location: It's in Colfax. Not a booming place but great for what we needed. Pullman isn't much more exciting..: )
We went for a football game and although there weren't many places available for the game, I am very glad I chose to stay here. Very well kept, nice staff and quiet. Thank you.

PERFECT SMALL TOWN GETAWAY

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: CLEAN, NEWER, GREAT ACCOMADATIONS, EASY TO FIND.
Cons: NEWER MATTRESSES IN ROOMS, LITTLE TO FLAT FOR COMFORT.
Location: TONS OF FOOD, GROCERY STORE ACROSS THE STREET AND TONS OF COOL SMALL TOWN SHOPS RIGHT ON MAIN STREET.
GREAT BREAKFAST, AWESOME POOL AND HOT TUB. ROOM WAS LARGER THAN EXPECTED. PERFECT STAY MINUS THE MATTRESS COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE COMFY.

Clean, comfortable hotel.

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, breakfast was good. They made coffee, tea and cookies available in the lobby during in the afternoon / evenings.
Cons: Nothing, really.
Location: The hotel is on HWY 195 through town but isn't loud or annoying. Not much of anything to do in Colfax - pop. 2,500 - but Pullman and WSU isn't far.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcomed. Situated in the small town of Colfax, WA about 20 miles north of Pullman. They were a pleasant surprise and an alternative to having to stay in Pullman, which happen to be out hotel rooms the weekend we were there.
