This is a nice hotel out of the chaos of Puno. It has gardens and lake views. There's also a jacuzzi and small pool. The first time I stayed it was great though large groups can come to stay so we weren't able to get into the dining room for dinner. On my way home I stayed again and they had a wedding with loud music in one of the rooms. No where to go to escape the noise. Luckily it only lasted until 8pm. It's the best option in the area for the price and the front desk woman was very helpful and sweet.

Staff was very helpful in accommodating whatever needs and the hotel is nice and clean with plenty of hot water. They even added simple details that are greatly needed and appreciated such as complimentary 5 minute of oxygen per guest, a bottle of water, lots of coca tea available and slippers.
It was located just a block away from Plaza de Armas so it was a short distance to hotels and shops. I liked that it was not on Plaza de Armas because it made the hotel a quiet and restful place to be.
Hotel can even arrange daily tours at reasonable prices as well as they offer complimentary pick up to certain locations.
The only thing I was not comfortable with is that they are so efficient, that they were waiting for us for anything we booked way ahead of time, so I felt rushed. For other guests, this might be definitely a plus. You can count of them to be on top of whatever you request.

Excellent staff and room. The Internet accessibility was not great. Retaurant was okay, not great but I am a vegetarian. The one drawback is that it is not in town, great views of the lake and town, but you are stuck with what the hotel has to offer. You could take a taxi into town.
