Tiskita Lodge is fantastic.Posted Mar 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
My wife and I adored our stay at Tiskita Lodge. It obviously takes a bit of work to get there, but once you're there, it's absolutely beautiful. The rainforest surroundings are lovely, and the local fauna - particularly the white-faced monkeys - seem to feel comfortable hanging out on the grounds in full view. Clyde, who served as our guide and liaison during our four-day stay, is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and super-energized about leading the tours. The food is good, and you get to meet interesting other travelers. There's a good stretch of the beach that isn't rocky right in front of the Lodge, the water's warm and the waves are quite strong and good for boogie-boarding (gets a little rocky in either direction, though). But the main thing is the feeling of spending time in the lodge in the rainforest surrounding, which is beautiful, fascinating, and peaceful/
