Fantastic hotel suite and so beautiful.

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The hotel is very clean and beautiful and the room was so nice and comfortable. The service staff are so friendly and helpful.
Cons: If possible to make a nice path along the ocean area so that one could walk up north towards Punta Cana and the other Hotel locations.
Location: The entire hotel area is so beautiful, clean and lots of place on the grounds to go for a walk or jogging. Punta Cana village is very close by.
Easy to find but should you have difficulty finding the hotel, there are many friendly people to ask for the direction. The check-in was done is such great professionalism. The front desk attendance spoke 6 different languages which made it so simple for me...Then we were brought to our suite which was so beautiful. The entire hotel area (which I took a walk all around) is so, so, so, nice. The food and service were excellent and all the staff are so friendly and attentive. So sad that I didn't have more time to stay but I will certainly return. I give this place a 10 out of 10.

Could use some TLC

Posted May 18, 2015
Overall...the property is beautiful and the really attempted to provide a 4-star experience, however, I'd honestly have to rate it a 3.5. The housekeeping staff could give a much more thorough cleaning and the living room furniture in room 2013 definitely needs to be replaced.

Decent all inclusive experience. Good, not best.

Posted May 14, 2015
Pros: Pool, some staff, good excursions, decent buffet options, decent restaurants, okay gym.
Cons: Beach restaurant should be screened in, flies were terrible. Poolside grill needs a food overhaul, it was the worst. Signing for everything was bad.
Location: Hotel excursions mainly run out of the Scape Park, with everything being upcharged - a $40 excursion costs $59 through Alsol. Not much beach.
We did this wrong by staying at the #1 rated resort on Bavaro beach last year, and then bumping down to the Alsol Luxury Village the same stretch this year. The two don't really compare. Alsol is a nice little village, it's right on the waterfront, but you are walking around a pier area more than a beach. There is daytime construction on the Tiara project, meaning only a small swath of beach is available, and was being cleaned/raked two of the three times we visited. The food is problematic at times, the signing for everything is weird, and the area seemed oddly unoccupied (we visited 5/5-5/13, when the resort was 20-25% full). Still we had a good experience and might go back, but only after visiting other resorts in the top 10 of Punta Cana first. Good: Our room had a back door letting us walk right out to the pool - so awesome. The pool was fantastic, large enough, never crowded, drink service (even food service!). Very relaxing, good staff Bad: Very quiet during our visit - it was like a ghost town. Not terrible, just odd. Poolside grill food was the worst. Chicken burger was not chicken. Chicken avocado had no avocado. Everything seemed just OK. Beach lunch spot was better overall, but flies were terrible. Needs to be screened in badly. Lunch and dinners are sit down and order, which takes time. You need to sign for all meals - they ask your room # when you come in, then again when you order, then again when you sign. Needless, repetitive, waste of time.

Nice and quiet, no beach though

Posted May 10, 2015
Felt like we were the only ones there it was great, really nice pools, had a volleyball net, no swim up bar at this resort or hot tub which would have been nice, also nowhere near the beach, we thought it was literally ON the beach, but all inclusive allowed us to visit other properties and still be considered an all inclusive guest, which were on the beach and had hot tubs and swim up bars. Staff was really nice and they upgraded us for our honeymoon.

I never right a review but this place deserved it!

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: Everything, the service was outstanding. The staff all remember you from the day before. They actually care about their guests.
Cons: There is not much nightlife, the resort is still in the process of being built but construction was not a problem. Maybe some more water sports!
Location: There is little to do near by, the resort is secluded which we love. It is gated and lots of security.
The staff are the friendliest, most helpful. We travel a lot and I can't say enough great things about this resort. The food was pretty good and they have three restaurants to eat from on the All Inclusive. Its a quit resort, not much to do but relax poolside. The beach is small but not bad. The rooms are amazing, We have a one bedroom suite. We took our 4 month old. It was perfect for families. 4 pools very well laid out.

Worth the money

Posted May 4, 2015
The best part is the staff. They are friendly and helpful at all times even when that rude, entitled guest is going on about 1st world nonsense. The room was amazing and the surroundings with Pool were perfect for a relaxing vacation. Cons. Italian restaurant id skip. Transportation to see anything out of resort is cha-Ching$$$, but that's true for any resort. Overall great place.

Almost 5 star

Stayed with my two boys (11 years old) for 6 nights. The rooms were enormous and very nicely appointed. The staff was friendly and the grounds and food were very good. Be warned that it is a quiet spot, so don't expect any partying.

Very friendly staff and very beautiful hotel. Quite a bit of construction and still a bit in development since it is very new but will be even better when complete!

Bueautiful hotel with own beach and a few pools.

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: They have at least 3 restaurants, a few bars. Food was great. The buffet style restaurant have a wide variety of foods. Everything fresh.
Cons: I can't think of anything at this moment, everything from checking in to checking out was great. I am looking forward to go back very soon.
Location: Air port is very close , shopping close enough. Other beaches are close by.
We were a family of 4 who stayed from 4/11 through 4/18. When we get to the door we were welcomed with friendly smiles and hello welcome to our hotel and how are you doing, next came 2 glasses of champagnes. The front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating after our room was assigned we asked if I could get a room next to my brother and his wife who checked in before us and it was granted. I think our room type was upgraded because I know that was not a junior suite. The rooms were very large and very clean.
