Best Honeymoon Hotel in Punta Cana

Posted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: The view from my room was amazing and the pool was cool.
Cons: The types of events. The dance class was good. But I could use more action games. Horseshoes is good but maybe something a little more current- darts?
Location: There are many excursions to choose from - but the best is to the Saona Island
The staff at this hotel are wonderful, fun and make the experience in this beautiful setting even better than just a stay at luxurious hotel. The ambience is beautiful naturally. However, the staffs at the restaurants are equally as wonderful as the suite I stayed. The suite was huge- the balcony had the view of the pool and the Marina. But if was the staff Ynocencio the bartender and the event staff at the pool that makes this vacation the best !

Mycket fin resort!

Posted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: Trevlig servicminded personal.
Cons: De flesta av de små butikslokalerna på området var tomma, utan verksamhet.
Hyrde en tvårumssvit med kök under två veckor nov-dec 14. Deltog ej i allinclusiveprogrammet.

A limited all inclusive Hotel. Not what we expect.

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: The Entertainment, the waiters service and Hotel architecture. Comfortable rooms with excellent Marina and ocean view.
Cons: Hotel Management. Only a restaurant at a time giving service. Menu at il cielo rest. very limited. Hotel performance at it personnel minor capacity.
Location: Excellent location, 15 min from airport. There's outside activities, like blue lagoon, Buggy tours, zip lines and cave expedition. inside, a good Gym.
The experience during the Thanksgiving week did not exceed our expectations. The hotel is Limited due to no free Wi-Fi on the guestrooms, as hotel promotion said; as a family hotel, there was a topless woman at the pool during all the week, people was uncomfortable, the pool wall was dirty with yellow algae, and my impression was that the hotel (management) was saving efforts due to the fact that few people were staying. (From 35% to 50% of capacity, as employee said) Our door lock was damage the first day, we had to visit the front desk 5 times in three days. Thanks God 3 batteries resolve the situation. Dinner at the Mariners was nice, but Il Cielo was a chaos, too small to serve all guest, the two restaurants didn't serve at the same time. No free transportation to the beach as hotel promotion said. The Cap Cana Bike Tour was not available from Saturday to Wednesday. The reason was that all bike where on maintenance. Why not limit the quantities of participant instead of cancelled the tour. The Hotel is a AAA four diamond award, not for me. We think that Alsol Luxury Village has the most spectacular architecture at Punta Cana, it has everything to become the best hotel of the area, but it needs more coordination and a better management. We had stay at least at twenty hotels at the Dominican Republic.

Great place to relax

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: The rooms and property.
Cons: - Check in process. - More options to dine at. At any given time, only one restaurant would be open for all inclusive.
Location: There is a restaurant on the property that is not included in the All inclusive package. Try there pizza.
My wife and I traveled to Alsol Luxury Village over Thanksgiving break. The place and stay was amazing. We had the 1 bedroom king suite, which was massive in size. The room was close to the main pool and not too far from the restaurants on the property. Room were nice, quiet, and up to date. The staff on the property were very friendly and helpful with the exception of one incident during check-in. The food like any all inclusive place isn't going to 5 star, but the was decent. The restaurant that was à la carte was pretty good. The buffet near the lobby was as expected. The place is very quiet. So, don't expect a lot of entertainment. This place is certainly a place for folks that want to relax and unwind. If you want entertainment, I suggest go elsewhere. We had a bad experience during check-in. The hotel claimed that we didn't pay the correct amount for the all inclusive package and stated we needed to call Expedia. We had the printed confirmation and the proof that we paid. We stated that they needed to call Expedia to resolve. In the end, it was resolved. However, this totally ruined the excitement we had at arriving to the hotel.

Could have been awesome.

The food was okay. Not what you would expect for a five star resort. The grounds were beautiful and the room was wonderful.

Birthday experience

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Overall me and my boyfriend loved our stay at the hotel. The room was extremely spacious and comfy. The staff was extra friendly and the scenic view was breathtaking. The only thing that needed improvemt was the food and the hotel navigation. It was difficult to get around but we found our way about the 3rd day. Jose and Carlos and Jesus was wonderful and the bar at the pool was excellent entertainment. Wish their was wifi every where, it said free internet but we didn't know it was only in the lobby. They tried to make my bday special and I loved it. Even thou we called a head of time to let them know they were unprepared but they got it together. They gave us a great deal for the excursions. Loved it. Would recommend / come back.

Beautiful, spacious, serene resort!

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Spacious, clean, peaceful, lovely staff.
Cons: I wish that the resort had access to the beach. I had to travel to another area to go to the beach.
The staff was very accommodating, especially the evening concierge, I think her name is Erica and the bellboy and waiter staff. Loved the customer service from the moment I arrived at the resort. My room was beautiful and big, and I was surprised at the cable package offered. I was able to watch news stories that occurred in New York. The food was ok, but the cooking staff did their best to accommodate modifications. I Definitely would return and now that I understand how the all inclusive package works, I will continue to book these types of packages (when available). If you want a peaceful or romantic vacation, this resort is the way to go.
