A 61-m (200-ft) freeform family pool includes a swim-up bar and is paired with a 6-m-diameter (20-ft) children's pool. Secluded from activities areas, an adults-only, L-shaped pool measuring 15m (50 ft) per side provides is paired with a six-person, adults-only spa tub.

Be Live Grand Punta Cana - All Inclusive's frontage on the 32-km (20-mi) Punta Cana beach of light-colored sand extends 300m (328 yds). The resort supplies snorkeling gear, kayaks, windsurfers, and Hobie Cat sailboats. Scuba-diving instruction/PADI certification and diving/snorkeling excursions are available for surcharges, as are speed boats, banana-boating, water skiing, fishing, and parasailing.

Aerobics are offered next to and in the main pool. After 8 PM, surcharges are levied for use of two lighted tennis courts.

“Good deal for the money, but better options in the area!”

Don't get me wrong, it's an ok resort. Just not a good one! It lacks service, food quality, and lounge areas for the evening. If you just want to save money and beach and sun this will do. If you are looking for a bit more... bring friends to keep you entertained or book loads of day trips! All and all it was ok, would I go back... NO

Area recommendations

I would recommended Punta Cana, La Romana, and the Bayahibe Area. Also The Saona Island trip and the Catalina Island & Altos de Chavon day trip.

“Great Place, Poor Service”

The hotel itself is great, just the people that run it and work there are letting the place down. The beach is great and with it being a way from the town center it is peaceful, and the usual people selling things cant get near the place. The service is lacking, it took well over an hour to check in and there was no order to the way they did it. Then the room floor was dirty and the tv picture was all fuzzy. I called down to the desk 3 times and each time said they would send maintenance. Long story short we went to desk each day and still it was never resolved. Our room never got cleaned 2 days and so on. We were one of only 4 english speaking couples, with 70% Russian, so was difficult to communicate and with the staff only really understanding Spanish it was tough. The shows were great, the grounds are great, the pools are great, and the gourmet restaurant was excellent. It was our first time to DR, and would like to go back to this place, as has all the potential, just need to sort out the service.

Area recommendations

I would go to the hotel next door to Be Live Grand Punta Cana. The area is peaceful and they have much better service there !!!

“great service but choose bavaro side”

If your planning to go to Be Live please choose the Bavaro side where the side of the hotel is renovated. At first we were put in a room where toilet was broken, phono did not work, and the leak in the bathroom had my dresses wet. After reporting the problem we finally got moved after 4 days. The rooms on Punta Cana side of the resort are extremely outdated and old. You will not be satisfied. When going, choose the Bavaro side of the resort and pay little bit extra-trust me WORTH EVERY PENNY. Food was delish, service excellent! The workers work so hard make sure to bring some tipping cash, they go above and beyond to service their guests. Blue travel trip to Sonoma Island is the best of all of the trips offered-definitely would recommend it.

“Depends what you are looking for”

To start, we paid extra for 2 Jr suites with 2 full size beds. on arrival we waited 45 min at check-in to find out that these rooms do not exist. the manager was nice, offered us extra beds in the rooms(small,son had to sleep on couch) and because I was so upset, he gave us free internet for the week. Well, the internet never worked!!! The rooms were beatuiful, however, this was a family vacation and there was no privacy!!! jacuzzi was in the middle of the rooms, clear glass doors on the bathooms and showers. I would say that most of the staff were top notch. Only prob being language barriers, and smoking was allowed evereywhere. Food was average, nothing speacial. Not alot for the kids to do..They were bored after a couple days.Ages 13 and 14 No teen center as stated.

“I have a wonderful time and would certainly go back.”

The first afternoon was a bit confusing but, the hotel was doing a bit of "changing of the guard" so between that and the jet lag, I can't complain much. Overall the resort was beautiful, though it needed some minor maintanence work (which was being done quietly). The room was wonderful. the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was always something going on to do or just sit back by the pool and be taken care of. I certainly plan on going back in the future. The only complaint I have is the constant hawkers, trying to sell you the same stuff in every shop. My advice, take a cab or rent a car and go to the San Juan shopping center (about 15-20 min away). You can get everything you want there without hassle and with price tags on things.

“Humidity in the room 100% got sick of it”

Got no info about reserving restaurants when we arrived. Complained about humidity due to pipe leakage inside the wall. Nothing was done about it.

“will go back”

Every thing is good for the price,food ,drinks ,nice staff,nice beach.Be carefull wih the ladys that offer hair treatment on the beach,they don't belong to the hotel,but are in the beach offering their services and have a salon in the sorrounding they will use products that burn your hair.

Be careful with the ladys that are around the beach offering cheaper beuty services they don't belong to the hotel and I dared to have my hair done with "Keratin" .Apparenly she is the owner of the litle salon.Guess what my hair is burned,the so called keratin just was a regular relaxer.Don't allow those ladys to touch your hair. En spanol.No dejen a las mujeres que hacen trenzas en la playa que les tinan el pelo o Keratin,no saben, es relaxer lo que usan no real producto ;especialmente la que dice es duena de una pequena peluqueria en el flee market cerca del hotel

“Definitely not a 5 star hotel”

Not a 5 star hotel, but if you're looking for just the basics, you'll be fine. The rooms are not in good shape, but we weren't in them very much anyway. Food was ok. Be prepared to know your spanish, trying to order mixed drinks in English was a little difficult. Also, check-in took about 20-25 minutes. Check out took about the same.
