Hotel Complex and StaffPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the beach was wonderful. My room was good and it was comfortable.
Cons: The food was not good. I went to every Restrauant they had and there was one that I would recomment and that was the Gormet. No flavor to the food.
Location: There is nothing nearby that you can do. Shopping is a joke and what they have is absolutely outrageous.
The Hotel Complex was beautiful. Guest services was very helpful.

Perfect getaway for a fun filled week with friendsPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Entertainment, Food, Beach
Cons: Stop with the annoying presentations
Location: Beach is great -you can walk around some more secluded areas. Outside the resort are shops with good & cheap souvenirs. Local bar down the street.
This resort was perfect, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Our room was awesome, facing the ocean. The beach is insane - the water is clearer than anything I've seen and the sand was so white. They keep the beach meticulously clean. The staff is super friendly and they don't really bother you, except for the welcome committee who promise you a "welcome gift" which is a ploy to force you to listen to their time share presentation. A firm no, the second time they hunt you down works. Everyone else was great. The entertainment crew is a lot of fun, they keep the atmosphere fun and energetic with games and activities and truly quality shows in the theater. The night programs are pretty great with good music. The club is not amazing but it's free and on the property so if the crowd is good, why not. The restaurants are great and the bars are too, just ask for "mucho ron" if you like your drinks to actually do the trick. The rooms are pretty, but the moist air makes everything feel sticky and gross. Some little things that were nice surprises were that they provided free bottled water, soda and beer in the rooms and bottled water all around the resort. Lots of pools and some less populated areas for those who want quiet. Overall it is a great place to go with a friend or 10. Not a super quiet or romantic place, but would be fun for a couple too.

Nice hotel for the price but there are things thatPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Best room ever stayed at...two jacuzzis...very clean gorgeous beach. Very relaxing.
Cons: The food...definitely need to improve the quality of ALL food on the resort
Location: There is a great restaurant right next door by the marina. Just go beyond the fence and you can get fresh lobster and seafood.
The people at this resort are great. Very kind and accommodating staff. The VIP rooms are great although the Separate classes of VIP is annoying. There is a higher VIP level that gives you access to the adults only pool and bar for another 10 per day. Very irritating since I thought I already had VIP....which only gave me access to the VIP beach bar and amenities. The food at the resort is the worst I've ever had at an all inclusive. You can definitely still find food, but what is good one day isn't always good every day. I'm not a foodie so I'm not picky but somedays even the eggs weren't good. The beach staff and rooms in VIP are absolutely amazing. My bf and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay.... We aren't there for the food anyway.

Ok for a Quick GetawayPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Entertainment was good! There was always something to do.
Cons: Hotel Staff's personality and willingness to be helpful could be improved. Because we didn't speak Spanish there was a severe lack of communication
My family and I stayed at this hotel (9 people total) for 5 days for my sister's 40th birthday. It served the purpose but was not where I would stay if I was booking a 7 day all inclusive vacation. The rooms were semi-clean - a little dusty. There were tons of vendors selling items in the resort and on the beach. They literally pulled you to them to make you look at their merchandise.

Beautiful vacationPosted Mar 1, 2014
I stayed in the grand master suite with VIP service and it was fantastic. My only complaint would be the amount of time it took to check in. I arrived at 1530. Check in is supposed to be at 1500; however, my room was not ready until 1700. After a long day of traveling, that was frustrating. The rest of the trip was awesome. Excellent VIP service, clean and beautiful suite, both jacuzzis were great, fridge stocked daily with my favorite drinks. Santiago was really great at the VIP beach. He made my drinks exactly how I like them. The beach and views were beautiful. Room service is a little slow but the food was really good. The spa was so amazing I went back for a second massage the next day. The pools were clean and the VIP sunbeds were routinely cleaned. The VIP lounge could use a little bit more in terms of breakfast and lunch. Overall, fantastic experience.

Be careful with this one, you get what you pay forPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Cost. But will pay the extra in future travel to stay at a real 4-5 star resort.
Cons: Friendlier staff, Resort staff service, Updated- remodeled rooms,More Beach and Pool chairs, better Buffet food-change menu daily
Check in hotel staff was not friendly. Standard rooms were horrible, dirty, and unacceptable. Had to pay additional $300 on the 2nd day to upgrade to a better room, jr suite ocean view rooms. Had to pick and choose what to eat on the Buffet food. Buffet food menu the same breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, got old quick. 5 out of the 8 people in our group got sick from the food within 3 days of stay. Resort to crowded. Rude hotel guests, not friendly. Had to get up and save pool or beach chairs by 7:00 am every day, or you were not sitting. If you are use to being pampered by the resort and receive pleasant ongoing service, this resort is not for you. This is not a 4-5 star resort. Is a 2-1/2 to 3 star resort at best.

Close to the beachPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: The beach The staff
Cons: The quality of fixtures in the bathroom
1. The hotel's location is good. It is not too far from the airport. The beach is in a quick walking distance. 2. The rooms are dated. Bathrooms and sinks are in terrible condition. Okay for males, but not good for ladies. Appliances break fast (refrigerators, AC). 3. The food was great for a resort. It was mostly Caribbean, but other cuisines were present. 4. The staff is very accommodating. 5. The beach is clean. However, the hotel allows guests to occupy the beach chairs (place towels on them) while they don't show up until very late.

Nice resort for this money.Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: food, beach access, tours, location
Cons: they want to charge us 40 $ for 2 hours extend stay at the room last day. ;-(
Location: We did couple of tours: Saona Island Tour - That was worth money. Horseback riding - OK Buggy Rides - be ready to get dirty. Scuba diving - great
Stayed 7 days at Be Live. The resort was clean and the drinks were ok. Food was ok, Pools were great and the beach was nice. The staff were always pleasant, but lacked fluent English.
