Clean rooms, and good restaurantsPosted Jan 28, 2015
I like the hotel overall. The only thing I was disappointed about was the beach. The ocean does not look as blueish/turquoise as other hotels located on the same beach (maybe 20-30min north). This is the only reason why i do not give it a 5. However, everything in this hotel was excellent.

nice hotel, excellent staff and exquisite foodPosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: food, drinks, staff
Cons: making it more child friendly
Location: the hotel has everything you need, its surrounded by other hotels, and with a beach like that you dont need to leave and wonder
I just came back from a weekend stay in this hotel, needless to say I loved it. I like the fact that is a small hotel, i usually go to the Barceló Palace, so this was a nice change of scenary. The staff is very nice and they will do anything to make your stay pleasant. I would definetly go back with my partner, but I am not so sure that I would be back with my toddler, this is why: 1. the bedroom has a shower, not a bath tub, try to shower a two years old in a shower... enough said 2. There are not amenities for the children, e.i. swings, there is an Explorers Club (kids club) however is only available for kids who are 3 yrs or older, and adults are not welcome inside, I tried to take my boy so he could play, but since he is only 2 and I wasnt allowed inside, we were turned away :/ 3. There is no elevator. If you have a stroller, is quite annoying. Ask for a first floor room. 4. The kids pool is nice, having a fountain or a slide in the middle wouldn't hurt (wink to the hotel management) The food is great, and there are many kids friendly options, the alcohol is good quality (no cheep booze), and the facilities are very well kept. It is a nice hotel to relax and unwind, if you have under 3's you might want to consider another one.

Average hotel,average food,and ok servicePosted Jan 20, 2015
We stayed here for 6 days for a wedding party of 40 people. First of all when you arrive all the staff trys to do is upgrade you to a preffered room at a additional 180 us dollars per night. The wifi is 39.99 per device otherwise you wont be able to access it. If your preferred room its free. Rooms are similar to a motel 6 very basic. Mini bar consists of 2 can beers,3 sodas and a water .almost everything closes at 10pm except a lobby bar till midnight. The nightclub is open.till 2 but not very good.the beach is pretty but hS lots of seaweed. Be prepared to be harrassed the whole trip at hotel and beach to get sold something, whether excursions, upgrades,or etc... I would recommend for anyone who doesnt travel and know what a quality resort elsewhere offers otherwise stay away because you will be dissappointed....

Excellent staff, great pool barPosted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Junior at the pool bar, all inclusive, close to the airport. Wonderful staff. Checking out was easy, they store your bags.
Cons: maid service, condition of regular rooms.
Location: Leave extra early for the airport when leaving, they are very inefficient.
Dreams Palm Beach is a small to mid size hotel that is easy to get around. The restaurants offered a variety of food as did the buffet. The food was good but not great, very salty! I can't say enough about the staff who go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. First we were in a "regular" room which had some issue and not very good housekeeping. When we told management the issues were attended to and we were upgraded to the preferred rooms for our remaining two nights. I highly recommend that people upgrade as the rooms are nicer and you have more choice of pools and access to the only hot tub. The beach is not the greatest, however if you walk to the left the beach improves.

Nice, kid friendly hotel on the beachPosted Jan 13, 2015
Hotel was nice, food was better then we expected. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Unfortunately, the ocean and beach have so much sea weed that there was no benefit to this hotel being on the beach. You can't even walk in the sand unless you are at least 20 feet away from the water. Other than that, the resort was nice, plenty of activities through out the day so it never got boring.

Save your $Posted Jan 12, 2015
We stayed at putacana dreams for four night and wanted to try this one. This was the biggest mistake. We were treated like cattle this is not a place to go if you want relaxation. I would go to putacana dreams not this one. We were treated like kings and queens at the other one. We got in multiple fights with the staff and they never made things right. Do not go here it's not worth it. If your down by the beach there are peddlers all day long trying to get you to by there garbage and they don't take no for an answer. The staff is understaffed and they won't do any thing to help you. Save your self the $ and go to puta Cana dreams.

Nice hotel, friendly staff.Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Shows, staff, cleanliness
Cons: Booked times for dinner on the specialty restaurants not "show and go".
Location: All kinds of nearby activities. The dolphin swim and dune buggy rentals were especially good.
Staff were very friendly and quite pleasant as well, food was very good which was a nice surprise as wasn't sure on quality relative to other all inclusive destinations. One disappointment was the beach, although a decent size the seaweed runs rampant and the water is the least clear in any place I have visited before.

Nice all inclusive hotel close to the beachPosted Jan 8, 2015
The rooms were nice and spacious but unfortunately smelled like mildew. Our toilet kept leaking so there was constantly water on the floor in the bathroom. The hotel staff was nice; there was a huge language barrier though which did make some things difficult. The food was different, there weren't too many things I cared for or that agreed with me. Drinks were delicious. Overall, beautifully decorated resort with fun nightlife and activities. Just be aware of the private beach where people will haggle you to buy things. Even the hotel staff was constantly trying to urge us to book excursions which became annoying very quickly.
