Great time and great service through expedia

Pros: Our room was far from the lobby but close to the pool and the beach which we loved! But the little golf cart trains come quick to get you to the lobby

Location: This was my second time in the DR and both times the only excursion I did was 4-wheelers/buggies. I think it's a must do! You get to swim in a cave!
I just got back from my trip yesterday and wanted to write all about it before I forgot any details! We booked our trip for only two friends, but another friend decided to join us (luckily we had booked a room that slept max 3 adults). We booked her flight by phone through Expedia so she would be with us, and they told us we could just notify the desk when we arrived that we had a third person and she would just pay the all-inclusive fee when we arrived. I didn't want any surprises when I showed up, so we did call the hotel just to confirm this was ok and find out how much she would be paying onsite. The hotel said it would be all good and it was! There was only a $2 difference between what I was told on the phone and when she went to pay at the front desk. Obviously not a big deal! We did opt for the shuttle service through Expedia (Blue Travel). We had some trouble contacting them from the states, so we just waited until we got to the airport in Punta Cana. It was super easy to find the Blue Travel desk and get to our shuttle. He didn't even make our friend who didn't have a ticket pay. He said for the return we could just purchase her ticket at the hotel when we confirmed our return travel, which we did. They will give you a time to meet with the Expedia/Blue representative to go over your pick-up time and they also have excursions you can buy but were not pushy about it. 2 tips - there are showers in the lobby so you can enjoy the pool on the last day, bring a travel cup!

Pros: Absolutely everything.
Cons: Carts, circulating inside the hotel, should be replaced by electro cars.
Location: The area around the hotel is so depressing and I would recommend tourists to stay within the hotel's territory.
It was a great three-day stay on April26-29, 2015. Beach was great as well as territory, rooms, and food service. Staff was polite and helpful, the only problem was poor English of the most of employees. I cannot complain and will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Pros: There wasn't one thing I liked about this hotel. It was not up to my standards in any shape or form.
Cons: They need way more staff ! People should be able to have water and coffee at the table at all times. Stop charging more money for good booze.
Location: The location is perfect. The beach is beautiful. I would deffinately go back to the D.R, but I would never stay at this place again.
If you are expecting a warm welcome with a fruity beverage or any beverage for that matter, this is not the place to stay.The lobby was like a deserted ghost town. When someone finally did help us check in, we could not hear or understand one word she was saying. It is also at this time that you need to make what ever reservations you want for the 3 restauants. The resort is actually 4 resorts in one so we needed to take a trolly to get any where. The drinks are pure sugar with maybe 1/2 an once of some sort of watered down alcohol. If you are expecting good top shelf booze, DONT stay here. You need to pay extra for the good stuff. We had to buy our alcohol down the beach at one of the shops. When going to eat at the buffet, make sure you get 12 glasses of water or coffee when the waiter decides to finally come by. U better reuse the plate you first got food with because they will pile up on the table before some one comes to get them .Having a group of six, we had plates alll over the table The resort is sooo under staffed it is amazing that they are even open. Dont plan on bringing a few snacks back to the room or to the beach, because they wont let you. There is not an ice machine anywhere so you have to ask a waiter for it and they have to go into a back room to get it. By the time u get the ice it is melted. Wake up at 5 am every morning to get down to the beach or pool to stake claim to chairs .I wasn't planning on getting up earlier on vacation than I do at home.

It was my first time to this hotel and I really recommend it. I will definitely come bsck. Its clean, staff really nice and a lot of stuff to do.

Pros: Room was a good size. Property, pool and beach areas were kept clean. Found it a little too big of a resort. Trolley's ran five minutes apart.
Cons: I could not sit by a bar or theater without getting attacked by mosquito's. NEED TO SPRAY!!!! Never experience this problem at other resort.
Location: Beach is beautiful. Water sports available.
Check in and out went smoothly. Got a lot of relaxing. Great beach and pool areas.

The staff was friendly but not many of them spoke English. Even the people manning the guest services desk spoke limited English. The person that cleaned my room spoke no English so I had to resort to using hand gestures to communicate what I needed. Everyone also expected a tip for everything from filling your glass with water to driving the shuttle around the resort.

Large Property. Three Resorts in one

Pros: The hotel staff and the night entertainment.
The hotel staff were amazing. The grounds were well kept but nothing breath taking. The nightly entertainment was fun. The food and drinks were ok. I recommend booking reservations for the onsite restaurants prior to arrival. Very hard to book while at the resort. The pools are lots of fun but grab a chair early in the day. The beach is located on one of the resorts and only a short walk from the others.
