“Great place to stay.”

Great place to stay. We were upgraded to a suite and it was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and were made up promptly every day. Food was good and there was a large variety. The resort was decorated for Christmas and Santa Claus arrived in a red helicopter which landed right on the beach. Amazing - as was the special Christmas Eve champagne dinner. Staff was very friendly. We had a large group and our table was set up and reserved for us every evening. We will stay at an Iberostar again.

“ready to return at a minutes notice”

first time in the DR and a great hotel for the price, close to the beach, everyone was so friendly, the bartender romar was the best, food was better then hotels we have stayed at in cancun. anyone that has not been to the DR before there is a $10.00 vistor fee for each person. excursions are not to bad for the price. nightly shows are average but good. could have more shopping on resort property but they do have some at three different locations.

“Iberostar is the best”

I never go back to the same island but the next island I visit I would without hesitation go to an Iberostar if available, extremely impressed

“Relaxation, Great Service, Beautiful Beaches.....What More Could You Want.”

I recently got back from a 5 night stay at the Iberostar Dominicana in Punta Cana. I went by myself and was looking forward to relaxing and seeing the beautiful beaches which the Dominican Republic in known for. When I arrived at the airport I was greated by one of those famouse mid-afternoon, 5 minute rain showers where your clothes get soked but in about 10 minutes your dry and its like it never rained. I then picked up my luggage and went through customs without any problems. I used Blue transportation for my ride to and from the airport and after some last minute changes regarding which bus/van I was going to be riding I was on my way to the hotel. On the ride to the hotel you'll get your first taste of how people drive on the island and see how tropical the place is. When you reach to Iberostar you'll be impressed at the entry and grounds to the hotel. The lobby of the Dominicana is beautiful and open and check in was smooth and efficient. My room was on the 2nd floor of the building and was clean and everything worked like it should. The buildings in the Dominicana are impressive in that all of the rooms surround a large, open-air courtyard with ponds and vegation inside. The grounds are beautifual and well kept. The pool is huge and relaxing. The beach...I had several walks during my stay and was in aw of the clear white sands and clear (pool-like) ocean water. There were usually quite a few people at the beach. The service and food were also excellent.

“Great hotel for anyone!”

From the initial sight of the beautiful lobby, to the perfectly manicured landscapes, this is a resort that is perfect for those in search of a pleasant getaway or a romantic honeymoon. The colors of the resort are warm and welcoming, and the food is above average. The pristine beaches are the work of hotel staff who routinely remove seaweed in an effort to make it perfect. The staff at times would be hit or miss as far as politeness. This may have been do to the language barrier. Overall beautiful resort, and my wife and I would return!
